The Division of Christian Formation invites you to - A Parish Lenten Retreat - At Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre, Niagara Falls Saturday, March 3rd 2012. Leaving Burlington at 9 A.M. and returning about 4 P.M. Our retreat leader will be a Carmelite Priest, Fr. Robert Carroll, O. Carm., Ph.D. We will consider two Gospel Stories: The woman at the well in Samaria and Lazarus and the tomb. There will be space for reflection, a fabulous luncheon and a concluding Eucharist. Some of the older children are attempting to learn the guitar or electric keyboard whilst others enjoy sports including volley ball, soccer and rugby. Several girls sew and produce beautiful embroidery and the younger children create their own games which are fun to watch. Please remember the children of Madagascar and Mary in your thoughts and prayers.
