JANUARY 18 JANUARY 22: DAYS OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE STRUGGLE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND HUMAN DIGNITY WHERE WE WERE WHERE WE ARE WHERE WE LL BE The picture above is not a flag. Rather it is a representation of our liturgical journey thus far in 2016. We just finished up the white and gold season of Christmas. We begin the green season of Ordinary Time I, and in a few short weeks, we will enter the purple season of Lent. Watch for changes in the sanctuary and the church and allow them to mark your prayer life and devotions in a different way! DRAW CLOSER TO GOD Due to overwhelming response we are at capacity for our first Zentangle workshop. We have scheduled a second session for Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the St. Julie Center. Parishioner Sunnie Lain, Zentangle Instructor, will lead participants through some basics of Zentangle, which uses simple lines to create intricate drawings and will help us explore how this focused task can help center us around God and his work in our lives. No experience necessary! There is no cost. Anyone 12 and up is welcome, but children under the age of 18 must come with an parent or guardian. Please sign up at www.sthelenparish.org/artprayer or call the Rectory so we can have appropriate materials for everyone.
