The Holy Spirit remind us of the words of Jesus The Holy Spirit in us is the closest, the most authentic source of knowledge and wisdom
What did Jesus teach? Make disciples and teach them everything I told you The Holy Spirit give us passion for the world a desire to see the world save. Ephesians 6:15 and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace.
He will give us peace in this trouble world He did not promise a life without pain and suffering but He promised to be with us and being with us and in us He (the Holy Spirit in us) will give us peace. Be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10) In the GNB: Stop fighting, he says, and know that I am God, supreme among the nations, supreme over the world.
Let your life speak: Matthew 5:13 You are like salt for the whole human race. But if salt loses its saltiness, there is no way to make it salty again. It has become worthless, so it is thrown out and people trample on it. 14 You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.
16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you for ever. Parakletos Helper It really means someone who is called in; but it is the reason why the person is called in which gives the word its distinctive associations. The Greeks used the word in a wide variety of ways.
A parakletos might be a person called in to give witness in a law court in someone's favour; he might be an advocate called in to plead the cause of someone under a charge which would issue in serious penalty;
he might be an expert called in to give advice in some difficult situation; he might be a person called in when, for example, a company of soldiers were depressed and dispirited to put new courage into their minds and hearts. Always a parakletos is someone called in to help in time of trouble or need. (William Barclay)
