HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - FIRST DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE ONE Intercessory Prayers for Healing, Reconciliation and the Gifts of Wisdom and the Word of Wisdom Amen. V: Father, as a child is carried in the mother s womb for nine months, carry us Lord in the womb of the Church during these nine days of the novena so that we may be born again, be born of the Spirit in Jesus' name. Come, Holy Spirit and cure the sicknesses of our body, mind and spirit. Come Holy Spirit and attend to our temporal needs and difficulties and help us to help others in their need. Come, Holy Spirit and gift us with Wisdom to know the Truth and the Word of Wisdom to proclaim the graces of God.
HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - SECOND DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE ONE Intercessory Prayers for Israel, the People of God s Covenant and the Gifts of Understanding and the Word of Knowledge Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am, broken and bruised, failed and beaten, stained and spoiled, lame and sick, depressed and desperate, worried and doubting, sinful and guilty, disillusioned and prodigal; You are my only recourse: forgive me, save me, heal me, wash me clean, set me free, deliver me from the evil one; I do not deserve to be called your (son) / (daughter) have mercy on me and take me in as one of your servants, in Your Mercy Lord, take me as I am. Come, Holy Spirit with the Easter Peace - the lasting Shalom of Jerusalem. Come, Holy Spirit and gift us with Understanding to accept the Truths of our Faith and the Word of Knowledge to proclaim the workings of God.

Lord God I come to You just as I am, broken and bruised, failed and beaten, stained and spoiled, lame and sick, depressed and desperate, worried and doubting, sinful and guilty, disillusioned and prodigal; You are my only recourse, forgive me, save me, heal me, wash me clean, set me free, deliver me from the evil one; I do not deserve to be called your (son) / (daughter). Have mercy on me and take me in as one of your servants, in Your Mercy Lord; take me as I am. V: Father, make us one in the Spirit. As You have forgiven us, may we accept Your grace to forgive immediately all who have sinned against us. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Come, Holy Spirit, gift us with good Counsel to speak prudently and with the Discerning of the spirits so that we may recognize Your presence and refute the enemy.
HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - FOURTH DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE TWO Intercession for the Unity of Christianity and the Gifts of Fortitude, Courage and Healing Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am. I give you the Truth of my Heart recognizing that I am a sinner, confessing that I messed up my life when I went against Your will for me and for others and that I am the one responsible for the deplorable state I am in and the suffering I caused to others. I acknowledge that I have no defence or justification of my own except that Your Son Jesus is offering to be my surety with His Blood. In Your Mercy Lord; take me as I am, accept the Truth of My Heart and sent me free from this bondage. V: Come, O Blessed Spirit of Fortitude uphold our soul in time of troubles and adversity, sustain our efforts after holiness, strengthen our weakness, give us courage against all the assaults of our enemies, that we may never be overcome and separated from Thee, our God and greatest Good. Holy Spirit use us as You wish to minister Healing of body, mind, memories, spirit, emotions and relationships to one another in time of sickness and give us, o Lord, the grace to endure all things and persevere to the end in doing your will. Amen. Mass Readings: Acts 19: 1-8; John 16: 29-33 V: Come, Holy Spirit, unite your Church Father, make them one that the world may believe (Jn 17: 21; Eph 4: 1-6; 2: 11-18). Come, Holy Spirit, move us to full reconciliation through forgiveness, the cleansing of history and its memories and mutual acceptance. Come, Holy Spirit, gift us with Fortitude and Courage to follow righteousness and resist the evil temptations and Healing to make whole my brokenness and restore good health to the sick and restoration to the marginalized.

HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - SIXTH DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE THREE Intercession for Conversion, Holiness and the Gifts of Piety and the Faith Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am. I give you the Truth of my Heart and I surrender myself to You, my Lord and my God. I give you back all that I am and all that I have, all that You have entrusted to me: I give You my soul, my heart, my mind, my body, my family, my dreams, my plans and desires, my vocation, my strengths and weaknesses, my virtues and vices, my achievements, successes, victories and failures, my name and reputation, my good deeds and my sins, my possessions, my needs and my debts, my work and leisure or unemployment, my talents, time and resources. I belong to You. You made me Lord. Restore me to Your plans. Do with me, in me and through me whatever You want my God. I am Yours. V: Spirit of truth, consecrate us by means of truth. By obedience to the truth may we be purified for a genuine love of our brothers and sisters (1 Peter 1: 22). In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - SEVENTH DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE THREE Intercession for Empowerment for Evangelization and the Gifts of Fear of the Lord and Prophesy Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am. I give you the Truth of my Heart and I surrender myself to You my Lord and my God. I give you back all that I am and all that I have, all that You have entrusted to me. I give You my soul, my heart, my mind, my body, my family, my dreams, my plans and desires, my vocation, my strengths and weaknesses, my virtues and vices, my achievements, successes, victories and failures, my name and reputation, my good deeds and my sins, my possessions, my needs and my debts, my work and leisure or unemployment, my talents, time and resources. I belong to You. You made me Lord. Restore me to Your plan. Do with me, in me and through me whatever You want my God. I am Yours. V: Holy Spirit of God infuse us in Your Love and give us the Grace of never losing Your friendship. Keep us Lord under your wings and reveal to us the message of Your Heart so that we will never wonder far from You. HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - EIGHTH DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE FOUR Intercession for the Victory of the Holy Cross for the Gift of Tongues and Interpretation Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am. I give you the Truth of my Heart and I surrender myself to You my Lord and my God. Restore me according to Your plans, cleanse, fashion and mold me anew. Make present the grace of my Baptism and Confirmation, baptizing me in the Holy Spirit so that I may be born again according to Thy will oh Lord. V: Lord Jesus, take us as we are and prepare us to be baptized, that is, immersed in the Holy Spirit and in Your fire of purification (Matthew 3:11). Grant us the gift to pray in the Spirit, praising and worshiping You in tongues with interpretation and the gift to utter your sacred prophecies (Romans 8: 26-27) to boldly proclaim the Gospel of Life and Truth. Amen. Mass Readings: Acts 24:27; 25:13-21 John 21: 15-19 V: Come, Holy Spirit, let your victory be proclaimed and your glory be revealed upon the face of the earth. (Eph 1:1 5-23; 2: 16; 1; Cor 1: 17-18) Come, Holy Spirit, mold, fashion and equip us to bear witness of the power and victory of the Holy Cross so that its saving power is manifested over all the earth and the whole world knows and testifies that Jesus Christ is Risen. Come, Holy Spirit, gift us with Tongues, so that we may abandon ourselves on Your pinions and Your sacred wings carry us to the gentle arms of Abba our Father singing songs from the heart as unintelligible voices of infants and babes in perfect communion of love and trust with God. (Rom. 8:26) Give us also the gift to Interpret Your sacred revelations so that we follow you more intimately and share you with more conviction. Through Christ Our Lord.
HOLY SPIRIT NOVENA - NINTH DAY - CONVERSION - STAGE FOUR A new outpouring of the Holy Spirit and His Gifts: The gift of a New Pentecost and Mission Amen. Lord God I come to You just as I am. I give you the Truth of my Heart and I surrender myself to YOU my Lord and my God. Restore me according to Your plans, cleanse, fashion and mold me anew. Make present the grace of my Baptism and Confirmation, baptizing me in the Holy Spirit so that I may be born again according to Thy will oh Lord. V: Father, renew our Baptism and Confirmation. Stir into flame the gifts of the Spirit in our life (2 Timothy 1: 6-7). Send the Holy Spirit to come down on this assembly and in the whole Church as for a New Pentecost to produce in us the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control so that we will bear witness to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ with our lives in the world we live, work and pray (Galatians 5: 22-23). Make us instruments of the New Evangelization with a renewed vigor, ardor and enthusiasm and with unwavering fidelity and commitment through to Christ Our Lord. You have made the Church the New Jerusalem, the City of David, City of God, City of the Last Supper, the Eucharist, the City of Your Passion, Death and Resurrection, the City of the Victory of Your Holy Cross, the City of the Upper Room, where Mary and the disciples wait in fervent prayer, the City of Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit is coming with Fire to reenergize Your Church, the City of Your Return, where the Spirit and the Bride say Come. Here we await, Lord Jesus send forth Your Spirit and set our cities ablaze. Come, Holy Spirit, we want to be Born Again through Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Grant us a fresh infusion of the graces of our own Baptism and Confirmation to bring about an abundant effusion of Your Gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ in love and to bring all things in heaven and on earth under His headship (Eph 4: 12; 1: 10; 1Cor12: 1-11).
