PAGE 2 AUGUST PREACHING Out sermons for August and September will focus on questions that Jesus asked, such as What did you go out into the wilderness to see? What do you want me to do for you? Woman, why are you weeping? Who is it you are looking for? August Special Offering Sunday, August 12 Financial support of King Avenue is imperative to help us maintain our mission. If you pledge, make sure your pledge is up to date. If you have not pledged, your gift is needed! Habitat's ministry is based on the conviction that to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, we must love and care for one another. Our love must not be words only it must be true love, which shows itself in action. Habitat provides an opportunity for people to put their faith and love into action. We bring diverse groups of people together to make affordable housing and better communities a reality for everyone. Please be a good neighbor and refrain from using our neighbor s parking lot. Summer Office Hours The church office is closed on Fridays through August 31. It will be open Monday Thursday, 9am 3pm.
