The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith APOSTOLIC NEWSLETTER www.thechurch-apostolicfaith.org Volume 3, Issue 2 April 2012 The importance of us to be obedient to God's messenger is an essential thing for us to know in that this is indeed the divine order of the Lord. The saints of God express their thoughts on this subject in the following pages. Bro. Turner of Dallas, Texas writes: Jesus was an example for the world to teach us how we should live. But he chose twelve men to preach to the world and told them to teach all nations as according to Matthew 28: 19-20. And now the apostles were our example that we must follow after. Philippians 3:17 states: Do we have to obey whom God has set up? If so, why? Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. God has set chosen men to tell us what we must do to be saved. It states in Luke 10:16, He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. Paul said in Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. The 23rd verse states, And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. God has set these offices in the church as it's written in Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Amen. The saints of Olive Branch, Mississippi writes: Do we have to obey whom god has set up? No doubt we must obey whom God has set up especially because he is the one who is preaching and teaching the truth and nothing but the truth. If so why? If we want eternal peace in the end with God, then we must obey the man that God has set up. The saints of Olive Branch, MS. Keep us in prayer. Bro. Maxie of Lufkin, Texas writes: Praise the Lord Saints of the most high God. I give all the honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and give double honor to the Man of God, Bishop V. Bush. has set up, if so why then? A great question. Let's see now what the scripture said about it. In Acts 13:40-41 it says, Beware therefore, lest Continued on page 3 Don't Give Up You Can Make It There may be times when you feel weary of the journey and you feel that you have no more strength to carry on. In these moments we learn to lean on God to carry us through any and every circumstance that we may face. God is truly able to equip us and to give us the strength to withstand any temptation and trial. We know that through the trying of our faith we are made strong. So don t give up. Trust in the Lord. He will see you through.

Words from the Pastor The Church Knows the Truth By Bishop V. Bush Apostolic Newsletter 2 Apostolic Newsletter 3 Greetings everyone, we greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Whether you believe it or not, you are responsible for the gospel that was preached by the apostles. The bible says in Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. So that is why we tell you that you are responsible for the gospel that was preached by the apostles because that is the way it is. They put Jesus to death in the flesh. But he rose and came on back and met with the brethren and said in Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. And he told the apostles in the 19 th verse, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: So the church is the only one authorized by God to do the teaching about Him. The apostles came on and lined up. The apostle Paul said to us in the book of 2 Corinthians 4:1-2, Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. That is the reason why we come on and you ask us about the different churches and organizations we have to tell you they do not have the truth because we have checked them out. See, the church cannot be duplicated. Can t anyone duplicate the church. It is just one church. And when the church was established, it is not going off the scene. So we are thankful that we are in the church. The bible says in Acts 20:28, Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Now that is what our job is. That is why you are hearing from me today to let you know where you can come and get the truth about everything. I don t care what comes up or what kind of question comes up about the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we can give you the biblical answer on everything. Now stay in tune with The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you can get the truth about things. The church knows about the truth. The bible says in Revelation 2:7, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; The apostle Paul wrote to us in 1 Timothy 3:15, But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. Now you can t get the truth anywhere else. I don t care how much you read the bible and how much you pray, if you don t line up with the church you don t have it and can t get it. The 16 th verse states, And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. When you start talking about God, this is a great controversy. All kind of arguments break out. But who has the truth? The church does. God is a great mystery. When He came into the human family and took on flesh, that became a great mystery. They killed Him and buried Him and then God went into the grave and turned that flesh into spirit and brought Him out of the grave. That is a great mystery and nobody has that mystery but the church. Everything that God wants us to know, the church has it. The bible tells us in the book of Luke 24:45, Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, The church understands the scriptures. No matter what it sounds like to you or look like to you, Bishop Bush knows what the scripture is talking about and can tell you the truth about the matter. No matter what question that comes up, we can give you a biblical answer on it. We are thankful to have a privilege to be a member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bible says in Acts 2:44, And all that believed were together, and had all things common; If you want to be right, you have to come on here and line up with the church. Come and visit us at 3015 South Malcolm X Boulevard in the city of Dallas, Texas and we can give you the truth about everything. May God bless you and may God help you.

Apostolic Newsletter 3 Must We Obey Whom God Has Set Up? Continued from page 1 Brother Kevin Bush from Dallas, Texas writes: Why we obey God? The reason why we obey God is because he made this world. All things were created by Him. He bought us in this world to live for Him. Because He is a loving God, a caring God and a merciful God. Brother Kevin Bush And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. Ecclesiastes 12:9 Brother Maxie continued from page 1 that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Also, in Luke 10:16, He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. It also states in John 13:20, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. In John 15:20 it reads, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:29 So saints let us do as according 2 Timothy 3:13-14, But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; Hebrews 13: 17 states, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: Why do we have to obey who God has set up? for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. So I believe so have the scripture spoken. Peace be unto you. Mother Gertie Anderson of Dallas, Texas writes: Sister Cathy Hunt of Lufkin, Texas writes: Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes you should obey the one in charge. God has always had people that he put in charge to do certain things. There are certain times when different ones were told to do certain things and they refused and things did not go well for them. We all should obey who God put in charge. The bible tells us to obey the one that have the rule over you. You will certainly be blessed if you do obey. Holy greetings everyone and double honor to Bishop Bush. Yes I believe we must obey who God has set up and have that eternal hope toward God for everlasting life. The word of God is truly spiritually discerned and has been manifested through preaching. I believe God has a plan and a purpose for the human race for the bible says be ye holy for I am holy. So God has chosen apostles and prophets to be holy and commanded them to preach the gospel to every creature and to be a witness of the things He has ordained. So we must follow resisting Satan through it all. "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;" Hebrews 2:3. I thank God for our pastor, Bishop V. Bush who is chosen of God and is preaching the whole true gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times." Psalm 106:3 Peace be, Sister Cathy Hunt

Apostolic Newsletter 4 Must We Obey Whom God Has Set Up? Continued from page 3 Sister Conta of Lufkin, Texas writes: I want to give all the glory and honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and double honor to the man of God, Bishop Bush. Praise the Lord saints. Do we have to obey who God set up? If so why? Yes we have to obey the commandments and statues that God set up. We have to do what is right in all things. We have to be perfect and upright and let our light shine and be obedient to the word because obedience is better than sacrifice. In other words how can you hear without a preacher. In order for our soul to be saved we must take heed to the word of God. Amen, Sister Conta Sister Norma Carter of Dallas, Texas writes: Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Double honor to our Pastor Bishop V. Bush, a man who has demonstrated he was set up and ordained by God to preach the gospel and stand fast on the teaching of the Apostles. We must obey whom God has set up. It is the only way to get the knowledge of the scriptures. If you have an honest heart and want to be right, then God puts his Spirit in a man (whom he chose) words his mouth, then he speaks unto you the words of truth. If you want to be saved, then you'll obey the man that God has set up, because he's speaking by the Spirit. When God sets his preacher up, no man can take him down. He's been anointed by God to preach the gospel, and God is with him always even to the end of the world. No matter what it looks like, keep faith in the man of God and don't stop praying. Peace be unto you Sister Barbara Hurts of I like to give all my glory and honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is the head of my life. I like to give double honor to Bishop Bush who is preaching this one plan of salvation. I like to give honor to all the saints of God. Yes I trust who God has set up. Like the bible said, How can you hear without a preacher. Anybody can get up there are quote the scripture all day long, but do they understand what they are talking about? I trust who God set up because they are Holy Ghost filled and was called to be a preacher. They were not sent to school to preach. You have to know what s of the spirit and what s of man. The spirit is going to lead you and guide you to all truth. The spirit is going to let you know what to speak on and it s going to guide you through. That s why I trust who God has set up. Sister Lynn Eldridge of Praise the Lord saints and Bishop V. Bush. has God has set up? If so, why? Yes we do have to obey who God has set up for us. God brought Bishop V. Bush here to preach the truth that is found in the holy bible. The spirit is over him to guide us in the righteous way to be honorable to ourselves and to others. God encourages s to make Him our rock and redeemer, our savior and friend. As we rest in his love and provisions, we experience joy and we bring joy to His heart as well. Peace be unto you all. Sister Lynn Sister Sholanda Murphy of Praise the Lord saints. I give all the glory and honor to my savior Jesus Christ. I give double honor to the man of God, Bishop V. Bush. has set up? If so, then why? Yes we have to obey who God has sent before us. Because he is the man of God. The man of God preaches and teaches the true words of God. He breaks it down so that we might understand the scriptures that has been written before our eyes. God has sent the man of God to open up our deaf ears and our hearts and minds to God s prophecy. So how can we hear without him who God has set up before us to obey? We should give double honor him. He speaks unto the nation that we should obey God s commandments.

Apostolic Newsletter 5 Featured Testimony Minister Darryl Smith from Riverdale, Maryland writes: Praise the Lord, The Lord has opened a door for this apostolic truth to be taught for an hour on my job. I am soliciting the prayers of the saints that the Lord will bless me and open up my understanding so that I will be able to teach this truth 100% just like our beloved Bishop Bush. Pray also for me that I will be obedient to the voice of the Lord as He is allowing this truth to be taught. Here is a little of my bio/testimony. Minister Darryl Smith Currently resides in Riverdale, Maryland. I grew up in Ahoskie, NC where I was brought up in the Baptist churches. After finishing high school in 1985, I went on to higher education at North Carolina Central University. During my years there, I joined a methodist church. Some years later, I moved up to the Washington, DC/Maryland areas where I started working and because I still had a love for God, I searched out and found an Assembly of God church home. Not being used to the truth, I thought this was God's true church so I stayed there over 10 years. However as time grew, I was not quite satisfied with the teaching, I felt there was more. One day, a former co-worker at that time told me about this "man" who came on the radio preaching that there was only "one way". So I listened that Saturday, and behold that man was Bishop Bush and he was. coming to the Washington DC area. I noted the date and was there that night in the hotel when the saints along with Bishop came from Dallas. After Bishop preached that night the Spirit let me know that the truth was taught and that was the church. The next night I was back and when Bishop asked "If there was anyone who been baptized from another church but wanted to take up with The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ", then I quickly went to become a member of the true church and I am settled. in this church! Peace be Minister Darryl Must We Obey Whom God Has Set Up? Continued from page 4 Sister Eva Robertson from I believe we must obey who God has set up in order to escape the damnation of hell. We must obey this form of doctrine from the heart. The Holy Ghost leads us and guides us to all truth. The word of God is for everyone. We must be born of the water and the spirit. There is only one way to God. Thank the Lord for Bishop Bush for preaching the whole truth. Peace be Sis. Eva Robertson Sister Yolanda Porter from Praise the Lord Saints. I like to give all my glory and honor to my Lord Jesus Christ. And the most high praise to Bishop V. Bush for preaching the truth and nothing but the truth. Yes we have to obey who God has sent before us because he sent him to preach the word to the whole nation so we can be saved from all our sins. Also, to be able to hear the true words that God have set up before us to be holy and without blame. He is the man of God who he sent to preach the word of God and his commandments. Peace be love you all Sister Dellene Jackson from Dallas, Texas writes: I give honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank God for Bishop Bush. Yes I think we have to obey who God set up because he teaches us from the scripture and if we believe the scripture we have to obey who he set up. Peace be Sister Dellene

Sholanda Murphy at her baby shower in Lufkin, Texas on Saturday March 17, 2012. It was a blessed evening to share with her in preparing for a new life coming into the world. Must We Obey Whom God Has Set Up? Continued from page 5 Sister Katryce Bush from Dallas, Texas writes: Praise the Lord and greetings to the household of faith. I give honor to our Lord Jesus Christ and to Bishop V. Bush, a true man of God. I believe that we should obey who God has set up. God makes no mistakes and knows the hearts of all men. When a preacher is God called and God sent, then he is in tune with the spirit and has the message from heaven. It is vital that we obey the man of God because he watches for our souls. He teaches us and gives us warning and instruction from the Lord in order for us to know how to walk right. So in obeying who God has set up, then we are obeying God. In saying that, I thank God for Bishop Bush and his faithfulness in boldly delivering the whole truth in these last and evil days. May the Lord continue to bless His people abundantly. Peace be unto you. Sister Taylor from Lufkin, Texas writes: has set up. If so then why? Yes we have to obey the man of God. God touches his body and called him to preach the true gospel of God.
