Portable War Room Not everyone has an extra closet in their home that they can turn into a War Room so we have put together this Portable War Room for you. You can record Scripture verses, praises and petitions and collect pictures to go along with your prayers. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:6 When you are ready to go in, you can turn any space into your very own War Room. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. Matthew 26:39b, 42b Your will be done is not something to be said lightly. It has to be the attitude of our heart and we have to trust Him enough to except His will when it comes. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God s will is His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 Our responsibility in uncertainty is always to return to what should be our default prayer. Father, glorify your name!" And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose to be conformed to the likeness of His Son Romans 8:28-29 Sometimes it s just a matter of waiting on God s perfect timing Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up Luke 18:1-8 Don't give up. Even Jesus prayed the same thing over and over in the garden (Matthew 26:36-46) So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. Matthew 26:44 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Praying Scripture can add a new dimension to your prayer life and get you started studying the Bible. For example, if you were praying for your family, you could pray Help us not to worry about what will happen tomorrow. (Matt 6:34) Help us to fear You and keep Your commands. (Deut 6:2) Help us to be found in Christ (Phil 3:9) and to stand firm giving ourselves fully to the work of the Lord; (1 Cor 15:58) that we would press on to take hold of that which Christ Jesus took hold of us.
