Month of October During the month of October we welcome you to join in our devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary by praying the Holy Rosary before all weekend Masses (30 minutes before). This month we suggest you offer prayers for the relief of the plight of world refugees and for world peace.
Announced Masses The Rectory Office is now booking Announced Masses from October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. HEAD COUNT Once again this year, we will be conducting a parish headcount on two weekends in Churches across the Archdiocese. This will begin October 13/14 and October 20/21. This information is to help provide an accurate profile of Mass attendance in the Archdiocese. School News Patrick Fogarty Senior Band played at such an amazing level at the Nationals last spring; they were invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City in February 2019. To help offset some of the cost, on Friday, November 23, Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School s Senior Band and Jazz Band will be performing at the Orillia Opera House at a cost of $20 for an adult and $15 for a student. Your support is greatly appreciated. Catholic Women s League Monday, October 15 with Mass celebrated at 7:00 pm followed by the General Meeting at 7:30 pm in the parish hall. World Mission Sunday 21 October 2018 This is a worldwide collection for the Missionary Church that provides emergency aid when disasters strike, cares for refugees in war-torn nations, provides rural health clinics and transportation for priests, catechist, religious and lay pastoral workers. It provides financial support for the daily needs of all missionaries.
Faith Formation For the second time we are offering the 5 week retreat on Marian Consecration based on the book: 33 Days to Morning Glory. The course leads you to devotion to Jesus through Mary by studying the spiritual giants of St. Louis de Monfort, St. John Paul II, St. Maximillian Kolbe, and St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta. The Adoration Chapel; Sewing Ministry; Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Vinnies are closed during the period of construction. Parking for Sunday and Weekday Masses Parking on Penetang Street, Mundells if there is no funeral or visitations going on. When school commences no parking in Lion s Oval for the noon Mass. Saturday and Sunday Masses as usual Chairs will also be set up in the Church Hall with audio video from the main floor with Eucharist served at the appropriate time. This is for those having difficulty getting into the Church but would enter Church Hall from the Penetang Street entrance. Church Office Please park on Penetang Street. Enter the Church near the side steps (there will be a sign to direct you); cross in front of altar and proceed to the door beside religious articles room. Ring the door bell and someone will be with you shortly. The entrance will be open from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, closed for lunch from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and open from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday. Friday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Your full cooperation is requested during the period of construction. The end result will be a parking lot with more coordinated parking.

Over $13, 366 million was raised to support the work of the agencies-the first time that the parish campaign has exceeded $13 million!
