Page 2 From the Pastor John 20:19 So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, The early Christians spent the first Resurrection Sunday morning behind locked doors. They huddled together, fearing for their lives. Jesus had just been killed, and they thought they were next. They walked into a room defeated, but when they walked out, they were dynamic. They walked into a room crushed; they walked out confident. They walked in having a pity party; they walked out ready to take on the world. They walked into a room paralyzed by fear; they walked out filled with faith. Something happened in that room. What happened? That is what our next five weeks leading up to Easter will be about. Hopefully, we can experience the same kind of transformation that the disciples underwent on the first Easter. Will you invite friends and family to join you? Will you commit to be here all five Sundays? That may be your first step in your own transformation. Looking forward to Sunday! Bro.
