Mission Statement Members of the Women s Intermediate Auxiliary of the Progressive Missionary and Educational Baptist State Convention of Florida, Inc. are committed to carrying out the Great Commission of God through evangelism; be it spiritually, financially, educationally, culturally, or socially throughout our local communities and abroad. Litany LEADER: We encourage a greater participation in reaching out to the youth and other individuals with special needs. We develop home missions, support foreign missions, education, programs, and evangelism ministries to fulfill the objectives. We believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, and our Lord, who was born of the Virgin Mary, and died in our stead as an atoning sacrifice for sin. LEADER: We believe that He rose from the dead in human body, and ascended to heaven therein. LEADER: We believe that He will return visibly in judgment to raise the dead, and reign forever in the glorified body, as the everlasting incarnation of God. LEADER: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who exists externally with the Father and the Son in the unity of the Godhead, and regenerates and sanctifies the penitent through faith in Christ. LEADER: We believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God, the supreme authority in religion, and in the light of all the facts concerning it, without errors of any kind, except small literary ones in the translations. LEADER: We believe that those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Redeemer are saved through His merits alone, while those who in His eyes, reject Him, will suffer the eternal consequences of sin in hell. LEADER: We believe that the Christ church universal is the company of all who are redeemed by the blood of Christ, and are formed by the Holy Spirit into one spiritual body, of which Christ alone is the Head. ALL: We believe that it is the mission of the church to share Christ s death and resurrection through personal faith in Him, as signified by baptism; to glorify Him by good works; to give His gospel to all men; and to wait for His appearing in partaking of the Lord s Supper till He comes.

(Adapted from Missionaries for Christ Local and International, Inc.) THIS IS MY MISSION Tune: Blessed Assurance Blessed with His goodness, blessed with His love; blessed with His showers that come from above. Blessed with His sunshine, blessed with His air, I ll go on helping, everywhere. Chorus: This is my mission, this is my prayer; helping the needy, everywhere: This is my mission, this is my prayer, helping the needy, everywhere. God gives the courage, Faith leads the way; onward we travel, happy and gay; Thinking of others, willing to share, taking God s message, everywhere. Chorus: Remembering others, whenever I pray looking to Jesus, He is the way; Onward I travel, Him by my side; I ll never falter, He is my guide.
