SOME TESTIMONIES OF THE VILLAGE MINISTERS When we distributed Gospel books in Kottupullampalayam village, one man came and threatened us saying why we came & who sent us. We told him that we did not come to convert but to share the miracles done by Jesus. We prayed for a widow s mother who was bed ridden in Alukuli village. She immediately got up and prayed with us. In Sooripalayam village, people received the Gospel books gladly. Some of them refused to accept them. When we did ministry in Aravankurai village, we were invited to a house for prayer. We prayed for a woman named Radhika who was suffering from shivering, fear and sleeplessness.the Lord gave her healing. In Koothambi village, people gave a complaint to the police station that we came to convert people. Police took away the Gospel books and warned us not to do ministry in that area. When we gave Gospel books to Ponnankaatupudur village, some of the young women who were touched by Jesus after reading the Gospel books went to the believers house who helped us and shared their testimonies as how the Lord love touched them. When we heard about this, we praised and glorified the Lord. We praised the Lord seeing the Lord s touch and the happiness on the faces of many people. After giving the Gospel books in Gandhikar village, we were waiting for the bus. A radical came to us and told that we should not distribute such books hereafter and went. When we offered a Gospel book to a person in Valaiyavalayam village, he refused to take it. Then after sometime the same person returned and got some tracts from us. We gave Gospel book to a home at T.N.Palayam area and went away. The inmates of the house had found a big snake at their house and killed it. When we were returning by the same way in the afternoon, they gave witness saying that the snake was cleared because we had come to their home. Likewise the Lord strengthened us so that we were able to walk around the villages and distribute Gospel books. A month ago the AOG Pastor when he was returning home in the night a mob threatened and damaged his motorbike and warned him not to preach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST in that area. 100 - Village Ministrty Testimonies V. Dias, Debeen B Gammana - Rakwana I was a sinner and JESUS saved me. Since then I had a desire to share the salvation and thank God for100 village ministry, giving me an opportunity to witness to many people. I walked in the villages and Estates for 3 days distributing tracts and gospels and I was excited and happy to observe the receptiveness of the people to the gospel. Praise God. N.Chandraleka, Kotala. Praise God for His Holy name. I was able to participate at the 100 village ministry for two days. The people showed interest to hear the gospel and few asked us to pray for their problems. We prayed for one family and when we prayed they were in tears. I could sense the power of God and now God has given me a burden to pray for these people continually. V. Mariadas, Madampe Rakwana. I was suffering from oppression by evil spirits for about 2 years, spending nights and day in lonely places and under the trees even in tombs. My parents tried many treatments and took me to temples and kovils, offered poojas but there was no healing in me. On June 30 th one of my brothers took me to a church to pray for my sickness. When I was taken to the church there was a meeting going on and in the end of the meeting I was asked to come to the middle and every body surrounded me and prayed for me. Some thing happened to me and I felt a great release in my body and mind. I was asked to go home and come back on Sunday and they were getting ready to go to the villages to tell about the love of JESUS. I too was moved to go with them and walked for three days together with the Christian brothers and sisters proclaiming JESUS as the true God and healer. JESUS healed me and the very same time he helped me to share the good news. I am happy and it is a wonderful experience.
