To be eligible to stand for nomination/election, the 4th degree member must either be present at the meeting, or must send a note of his acceptance of nomination in advance. Nominations will be accepted from the floor at both meetings. Upcoming Assembly activities: Saturday May 5th Masters Meeting will be held at our Columbus hall Mass 9:00 am followed by the meeting, which should be finished by 1:00 pm. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. Fourth Degree Exemplification: Sunday, June 03, 2018 see flyer elsewhere in the newsletter. Deacon Tim Theriault has been called to the priesthood by Bishop Crosby and will be ordained Saturday May 5th at 11:00 am at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King. On Sunday, May 6th 2:00 pm Father Tim Theriault will be celebrating his first Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Parish (Colour Guard event). Father Tim is also a 4th degree. All are welcomed to these celebrations. National March for Life: On Thursday, May 10th, 2018, the annual March for Life will take place in Ottawa. A bus has been arranged by the Knights of Columbus. For more information please contact Ewart Harris 416-559-4071 St. Gabriel Council. Cost is $35 per person. Confirmation: St. Patrick Parish Saturday, May 12th,5:00 pm (Colour Guard event). As always with Colour Guard(s) event(s) please arrive 1/2 hr. early. Our Friar, Fr. Peter will be leaving our assembly at the end of the fraternal year. He has been assigned as the new Pastor, St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Hamilton. We all wish him well and thank him for all he has done. See the attachment elsewhere in this newsletter. We will be seeking a Friar for the upcoming new Fraternal year. Happy Mother s Day Sunday May 13th (on the second Sunday of May). We celebrate Mother s Day by showing our appreciation for motherhood and it is a time to appreciate mothers and mother figures. Newsletter Editor: Sir Knight John Rynn will be leaving us as our newsletter editor at the end of this fraternal year. Thank You for all you have done, it is greatly appreciated and we all wish you great success in all your endeavours. We will need a newsletter editor for our new fraternal year. FEES: Includes - 4th Degree Pin, Baldric and 1 Banquet Ticket Lay Candidates $100.00 Ladies Program $25.00 Clergy $70.00 Banquet ticket only - $50.00 CANDIDATES OFFICIAL DRESS: Business Dress Jacket & Tie (Preferably Dark), Plain White Shirt, Black Dress Shoes and Black Socks.
