I would like to thank the degree team for making this a memorable moment in Brother Boyce's life. I would also like to Congratulate Brother Vazquez on getting raised on June 26, 2017. Our Catechism Workshops are still running along smoothly. Our Junior Warden has been doing a fabulous job with our events. Brother Taylor has been doing a wonderful job with putting together monthly activities for us and did an outstanding job with our 90th Birthday celebration. Thank you Brother Taylor! It was my pleasure presiding in the East for his degree. Also, congratulations to our newest Master Mason Brother Yuly Vazquez, who was raised at Universal Lodge on June 26, 2017. Our 90 th Birthday held June 29, 2017 was a big success. We had 67 in attendance and all enjoyed the fellowship and brotherly love. Brethren, FROM YOUR LODGE SECRETARY If you missed our 90th anniversary gala evening on June 29th, you missed a great event. Among the honored guests were M\W\ Grand Master, Richard Hoover, R\ W\ Grand Pursuivent, John Drewett R\W\ Chuck Osborne, District Deputy Grand Master of the 19th Masonic District and R\H\ Tony De Angelo, District Instructor of the 19th Masonic District. R\W\ John Drewett also represented The Tampa Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Those present learned a lot about the history of our Lodge and our continued relationship with Tampa Scottish Rite. The official visit to Holyrood Lodge of the District Deputy Grand Master, R\W\ Chuck Osborne will be July 13th. Please come out and support the Lodge for this event. I would like to congratulate Brother Scott Boyce, our newest Entered apprentice and Brother Yuly Vazquez our newest Master Mason. We look forward to their active involvement in the Lodge. There are a number of cases each year in which we are not notified of the passing of a Brother, and we send an embarrassing dues notice to his loved ones. As your Chaplain, it is important to reach out to all of our Brothers and their families in need of prayers, thoughts, and visitations. To do this I need your help! I would like to set aside one day a month just for visitations. I cannot do this without your help.
