The First Beast Comes From The (Revelation 13:1) and The Second Beast Comes From The (Revelation 13:11). i. The Sea Represents And And The Earth Represents And Areas. 1. The First Beast Rises From The Sea And Is Familiar To The Beasts Of Daniel 7 Who Also Rose Up From The. a. And Four Great Beasts Came Up From The Sea Daniel 7:3 b. The Sea Beast Appears To Be An Amalgamation Of The Fallen Kingdoms Of Daniel 7, Whereas The Earth Beast Appears To Be Something. 2. What Indicator In Daniel 7 Indicates That All The Aforementioned Kingdoms Would Have A Future? a. As For The Rest Of The Beast, They Had Their Dominion Taken Away, Yet Their Lives Were Prolonged For A And A. Daniel 7:12 i. The Last Part Of The Verse Says Their Lives Were. 1. This Is Made Possible Through The Practices Of The Power. 3. In What Specific Way Is The Future Of These Kingdoms Carried On? a. Under The Appearance Of, Papal Rome Would Continue The Pagan Practices Of Babylon, Medo-Persia And Greece. i. This Is Clearly Seen Through This System s Blatant Attack On The And The Of God. 1. In Attacking The Sanctuary This System Has Attempted To Remove From Salvation And In Attacking The Law Of God This System Has Thought To Change The Of God, Advocating For Idol Worship And Changing The Solemnity Of The Sabbath To Sunday. 2
4. How Does The First Beast Of Revelation 13 Parallel The Animals Depicted In Daniel 7? a. Then I Stood On The Sand Of The Sea. And I Saw A Beast Rising Up Out Of The Sea, Having Seven Heads And Ten Horns, And On His Horns Ten Crowns, And On His Heads A Blasphemous Name. Now The Beast Which I Saw Was Like A Leopard, His Feet Were Like The Feet Of A Bear, And His Mouth Like The Mouth Of A Lion. The Dragon Gave Him His Power, His Throne, And Great Authority. Revelation 13:1&2 i. Revelation Describes This First Beast As A Of The Leopard, The Bear And The Lion Indicating That This Beast Is A Religious-Political System That Is The Of The Powers That Has Preceded It. b. And He Was Given A Mouth Speaking Great Things And Blasphemies, And He Was Given Authority To Continue For Forty-Two Months. Then He Opened His Mouth In Blasphemy Against God, To Blaspheme His Name, His Tabernacle, And Those Who Dwell In Heaven. It Was Granted To Him To Make War With The Saints And To Overcome Them. And Authority Was Given Him Over Every Tribe, Tongue, And Nation. All Who Dwell On The Earth Will Worship Him, Whose Names Have Not Been Written In The Book Of Life Of The Lamb Slain From The Foundation Of The World. Revelation 13:5-8 i. Notice The Three Parallels Found In The Text That Refer Back To Daniel s Description Of The Little Horn Power Of Daniel 7: 1. The Beast Would Have A Mouth And Would Use That Mouth To Speak Against God. 2. The Beast Would Seek To Make With The Saints. 3. His Reign Would Be For a Set Period Of 42 Months And This Is Equal To 1260 Prophetic Days Or Literal Years. 5. Does Revelation 13 Give Us Any Other Clues To The Identity Of This Beast? a. This Beast Rises From The Implying That It Would Rise Amongst A Area As The Represents In Prophetic Language. 3
b. This Beast Is Said To Have Seven Heads And While It s Not Clear What Those Heads Represent Here, Revelation 17:10 Lets Us Know That These Are Seven Consecutive That Satan Uses To God s People. 6. There Is Similarity Between The Sea Beast And Another Player That Can t Be Missed. a. Revelation 12:3 And Another Sign Appeared In Heaven: Behold A Great, Fiery Red Dragon Having Seven Heads And Ten Horns, And Seven Diadems On His Head. i. There Is A Similarity Here Between The Sea Beast And The. ii. The Crowns On The Dragon Represent His Claim To Have Full Power And Authority Over The Things Of Heaven And Earth; Therefore It Makes Sense That His Agent, The Sea Beast, Would Have The Same Crowns On Its Head As This System Of Spiritual Falsehood Is Given Its Power By The. 7. What Ominous Point Does The Revelator Reveal Concerning This Sea Beast? a. And I Saw One Of His Heads As If It Had Been Mortally Wounded, And His Deadly Wound Was Healed. And All The World Marveled And Followed The Beast. So They Worshiped The Dragon Who Gave Authority To The Beast; And They Worshipped The Beast, Saying, Who Is Like The Beast? Who Is Able To Make War With Him? Revelation 13:4 i. When John Sees This Sea Beast The Mortal Wound That It Received Previously Is Now. 1. John Would Repeat This Sentiment In Revelation 13:12. 8. He Who Leads Into Captivity Shall Go Into Captivity; He Who Kills With The Sword Must Be Killed With The Sword. Here Is The Patience And The Faith Of The Saints. Revelation 13:10 i. Firstly It s A Warning That God s People Experience And. Secondly It s A Promise That God Will Bring And On The Oppressors Of His People. And Lastly God Encourages His People To Have And During These Times 10. Who Does This System Of Spiritual Falsehood Seem To Close Parallel? a. There Are Clear Parallels Between This System And. i. Jesus Began His Ministry By Coming Out Of The Water And The Sea Beast Comes Out Of The Water. ii. Jesus Received His Authority From The Father And The Beast Receives Its Authority From The Dragon. iii. Jesus Has A Crown, Wields A Sword And According To Revelation 5:6 Has Seven Horns; The Beast Is Depicted As Having A Crown And A Sword As Well As Horns. iv. Jesus s Initial Earthly Ministry Was For 3 ½ Years Or 42 Months Or 1260 Days Which Is The Same Amount Of Time That Beast Would Initially Reign. v. Jesus Receives A Mortal Wound But Would Ultimately Be Resurrected And That Beast Would Receive A Mortal Wound That According To Revelation 13:3 Would Be Healed. vi. Both Are Given More Power And Authority Upon Their Resurrection And Are More Revered And Worshipped Due To Their Resurrection. 11.
