It is time for the wealth transfer. The flood was the greatest recession to ever hit the earth! A. God provided a way out for the righteous. B. Noah had to make himself an ark. C. Build yourself an ark and then get both feet inside. 2 Peter 1:3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). A. God does not answer prayers for things today. B. He answered that prayer 2000 years ago. C. Our prayers should be asking God how to access what He has already provided. There are four things that you must understand in order to access all things. A. It s already commanded that all things are yours. B. You access all things through a seed. C. The seed must be the one directed by the Holy Ghost. D. You must have the finality of faith. V. 2 Kings 4:8 One day Elisha went on to Shunem, where a rich and influential woman lived, who insisted on his eating a meal. Afterward, whenever he passed by, he stopped there for a meal. 9 And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God who passes by continually. 10 Let us make a small chamber on the [housetop] and put there for him a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp. Then whenever he comes to us, he can go [up the outside stairs and rest] here. 11 One day he came and turned into the chamber and lay there. 12 And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. When he had called her, she stood before him. 13 And he said to Gehazi, Say now to her, You have been most painstakingly and reverently concerned for us; what is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for to the king or to the commander of the army? She answered, I dwell among my own people [they are sufficient]. 14 Later Elisha said, What then is to be done for her? Gehazi answered, She has no child and her husband is old. 15 He said, Call her. [Gehazi] called her, and she stood in the doorway. 16 Elisha said, At this season when the time comes round, you shall embrace a son. She said, No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your handmaid. 17 But the woman conceived and bore a son at that season the following year, as Elisha had said to her. A. Vs 8 Sowing alone does not guarantee a harvest. 1. The woman sowed seed by feeding the prophet. 2. She received no harvest yet on her seed. B. Vs 9 She perceived the anointing on the prophet. C. Vs 10 Once she perceived the anointing, she increased her giving. 1. She is now sowing into the anointing with both food and accommodations. 2. However, she did not yet name her harvest. D. Vs 13 The man of God did not pick the harvest. 1. The sower always picks the harvest. 2. If no harvest is selected, none will come in. 3. You must give your seed a DNA. 4. At this point, the woman chose nothing and that s exactly what she got. E. Vs 14 Gehazi suggested to Elisha that she be granted a child. 3
1. Circumstances dictated that her husband was too old and she was barren. 2. Once that seed was given the assignment, she got pregnant. 3. Money has no value until it is given an assignment for goods and services. VI. Seed helps your faith to show; Faith helps your seed to grow. A. Matthew 13:8 Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some thirty. B. Spend plenty of time studying the Word so you can determine good soil. C. The CD series entitled Offerings that God Must Multiply contains the teaching about quality of soil. 1. A ministry is good soil when they sow into other ministries. 2. Ministries that ask for your money have made you their source. 3. Ministries that sow into the kingdom have made God their source. 4. Your needs will only be met by your giving, not your receiving. 5. Always check out the soil before you sow. D. The level of nutrient content determines the level of harvest on your seed. 1. All the seeds were sown into good soil. 2. All the seeds were identical. 3. The difference in yield was determined by the amount of nutrients. 4. In Genesis, there is actually an example of a 1000-fold return. E. The nutrient that causes your seed to grow is FAITH. 1. Your level of faith will determine your level of yield. 2. Faith is like a muscle; it takes time to grow. 3. If you want a bumper crop, bump up your level of faith! 4. Start with the double portion and work your way up from there! 5. Weightlifters increase the weight little by little. a. The last rep causes the muscle to break so it can grow. b. Muscles don t grow until they are put to the test. 6. There are no fast-food drive-through faith restaurants. a. You can t drive up to the window and say SUPER-SIZE my faith! b. You have to intake more Word to grow your faith. 4
c. Feed your faith more than you feed your mouth. d. Whatever you feed will grow. F. In Vs 8, the hundred-fold was listed first, because that is God s will for you. 5
