SECTION I INTRODUCTION TO DISUNIFICATION COSMOLOGY The account of Divine Creation as told in the Bible is an unconvincing old story, a relic from the religious past. Likewise, the modern atheistic claim that the Big Bang just spontaneously happened is equally unconvincing. This book offers a Third Option, a striking new description of the event in Infinity that caused the Big Bang. The event that caused the Big Bang is called the Disunification. The Disunification was a cosmological event. What does the word cosmology mean?
Cosmology is a compound word formed from two Greek words: Kósmos, a word that refers to our Universe and all of the forms, processes, and beings that arise therein. Lógos, a word used to describe a specialized body of knowledge that offers insights into the ultimate nature of Reality. The word Logos is used because what we teach is specialized, transformative, and easy to understand. There is no gnosis, no secret knowledge involved in this book. What we present is philosophy with a fascinating view of spirituality and physics. Disunification Cosmology is the study of the event that caused the Big Bang and its implications for human Consciousness. It is also referred to as Day Teaching for reasons that will become evident. The two terms are synonymous. This book is the introductory text for Day Teaching. NEW TERMS AND CONCEPTS Several new terms and concepts are introduced in the text. A glossary is provided in the back of the book containing the definitions of these new terms and concepts. Two examples are Disunification and Primal Matter: These two terms used in a sentence give a sense of their meaning: The Disunification describes the actual event and force that disunified the Primal Matter from Infinity and then evolved it into all of the forms, processes, and beings in our Universe. The Primal Matter and its conversion and evolution into everyone and everything in our entire Universe are the key subjects of this book. Primal Matter is of particular interest, as it pertains to Consciousness and your own Soul. 2
Chapter One The Black Pearl THE PRIMAL MATTER Many popular science writers are fond of telling their readers that everything in our entire Universe was once contained in a tiny particle, or a singularity, that was smaller than the period at the end of this sentence. This tiny particle is said to have unaccountably exploded into our Universe in an event called the Big Bang. This tiny particle contained the Primal Matter, for out of it came everything in our Universe. This tiny particle is the Black Pearl. 3
Our Universe exploded into existence from a center point. This is illustrated by using a sphere with four arrows extending from it as shown below. Four basic physical properties in our Universe that were disunified from the Black Pearl in the Big Bang. At the end of each arrow is a label with various forms of Primal Matter that disunified from the Black Pearl. This type of diagram is called a four corner diagram, several of which are used throughout this book to illustrate the Disunification. 4
Inasmuch as everything in our Universe disunified from a tiny Black Pearl, or singularity, one simple question must be asked: Where did the Black Pearl that exploded into our Universe come from? This question requires asking a related question: How did all of the Primal Matter get packaged into the tiny Black Pearl in the first place? To answer these questions requires a very important distinction: Infinity and our Universe are two different domains According to astrophysical research, our Universe came into existence 13.75 billion years ago. This means that our Universe has not existed forever. Since we know for certain that our Universe came into existence at a certain point in time, we can conclude that our Universe is sub-infinite. This is true because if our Universe were Infinite, it would never have had a finite beginning 13.75 billion years ago. The only logical place for the Primal Matter to have come from is Infinity, for Infinity existed prior to our Universe. 5
INFINITY & OUR SUB-INFINITE UNIVERSE In The Physics of Immortality, Dr. Frank Tipler asserts: The universe is defined to be the totality of all that exists, the totality of reality. Thus, by definition, if God exists, He/She is either the universe or part of it. 1 I take exception with the definition that the universe is defined to be the totality of all that exists and instead maintain that Infinity and our Universe are two separate and different domains. A strategic notion of this work is that our Universe and all other universes in the Multiverse - are sub-infinite and are sourced by Infinity. The distinction between Infinity and our Universe has two key implications explored in this book: Our Universe and all universes in the Multiverse are sub- Infinite and disunified from Infinity All Divinities, Gods, Goddesses, angels, demons, humans, religions, and all other expressions in Consciousness are sub-infinite and disunified from Infinity This book reveals the beginning of our Universe from both sides: From Infinity and from what we see on this side as a Big Bang. You passed from Infinity into our Universe during the event that caused the Big Bang. You can remember what happened. This book will help you to remember. Remembering Infinity is an important part of this work, for in remembering we gain an enormous perspective on our Universe and everything that arises within Consciousness. We can transcend many barriers in ourselves when we remember and understand our true nature. 1 Tipler, Frank. The Physics of Immortality Modern Cosmology: God and the Resurrection of the Dead. THE DOORS OF PERCEPTION If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern. - William Blake I have seen for myself what William Blake and so many others have seen. I have seen and experienced Infinity. The Ancient of Days, William Blake (1757-1827) By cleansing the doors of perception, you too will be able to see Infinity. Once you see Infinity for yourself, you can profoundly shift your sense of identity. For many people, this shift will be very liberating because it frees them from painful identities and all of the false and unexamined beliefs that keep these painful identities locked in place. How does a person cleanse the doors of perception in order to see Infinity? One of the main tools we use to cleanse perception is deconstruction. Deconstruction simply means that we take various things apart to see what they are made of. 7
One thing we find in deconstruction is that there are many selfcreated barriers to perception. These barriers often take the form of an identity to which we cling when this is not needed and in fact interferes with perception. After we identify the event that caused the Big Bang, we will deconstruct the ways in which Consciousness disunified from Infinity in completely unsuspected ways that have profoundly affected human identity. Once you discover what caused the Big Bang, surprising new answers to the classic questions fall into place: 1. Why our Universe came into existence 2. What caused the Big Bang 3. Why Consciousness is an intrinsic part of our Universe 4. Why there are so many different versions of God 5. Why there are so many different and competing religions 6. Why Good and Evil exist 7. Who you fundamentally are after all of your false identities are stripped away 8. What happens after you die 9. The Purpose of Life 10. How to find meaning in your own life Your knowledge and understanding of Life and the Universe will expand as a result of reading this book. This teaching is new and profound; it has never been known until now. At an abstract level, the purpose of universes and of sentient beings is to unpackage and evolve the Primal Matter of Infinity. This abstract purpose, however, becomes very intensely personal to each of us as we must incarnate and live the intensity of unpackaging some small part of Infinity in the span of our lifetimes. We discuss unpackaging pressures later in the book. 8
What does arising mean? ARISING Arising is very important, for it refers the totality of that which is manifest and appears in our Universe and within you. You can generally see, feel, measure, know, and experience most of that which is arising within yourself and the world around you. When something in you or around you is arising and you don t know what it is, you could become curious, disturbed, or fascinated, depending upon how you react or what you perceive an unknown thing to be. To the extent that you cannot see or know that which is arising, you are unaware. We innately want to know what things are. You might not know what certain things are, but they are nevertheless arising. For example, who are the people that arise in your dreams? There is no one single answer to this question. Divinities, angels, phantoms, reveries, demons, figments of your imaginations, and so many other things arise in your dreams. Quarks, Higgs bosons, and quantum strangeness arise in our Universe. All of the universes in the Multiverse and all of their possible histories arise. You will see the common source from which all things arise. 9
