The Greatest Gift SCRIPTURE 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a (NKJV) 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, [a] but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. 4
RESPONSIVE READING 1 Corinthians 12:12-18 18 (NKJV) LEADER: For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. CONG: For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. LEADER: For in fact the body is not one member but many. CONG: If the foot should say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? LEADER: If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? ALL: But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 5
O HOW I LOVE JESUS There is a name I love to hear, love to sing its worth; It sounds like music to mine ear, The sweetest name on earth. Chorus: O, how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O, how I love Jesus, Because He first Loved me! It tells me of a Savior s love, Who died to set me free; It tells me of His precious blood, The sinner s perfect plea. It tells of One whose loving heart Can feel my deepest woe, Who in each sorrow bears a part, That none can bear below. 6

The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
