DAY 1 Monday, January 15 Start with me Father God, I reaffirm that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. DAY 2 Tuesday, January 16 Our families Lord, I thank you that marriage and family are your creation from the beginning of time. As we take this day to pray for families at GateWay, we begin by asking Lord, that You would touch each marriage with a new vibrancy and life. Renew marriage partners in their commitment to You and to each other. Let the covenant of marriage be healthy and strong at GateWay. And Lord we ask that marriages that are faltering would be strengthened and healed in your love, and would flourish in 2018. EPHESIANS 5:31-33, GENESIS 18:9A, COLOSSIANS 5:15 Lord, we ask that orchestrate family relationships according to your Word. We ask for grace for children to listen to and obey their parents. We ask for grace for parents to set righteous boundaries for their children. Keep parents from provoking their children. We ask for healthy, flourishing relationships between the generations, and between siblings. Where a family has estrangement, we ask for special grace and forgiveness for families to be reconciled. We pray for enabling grace for prodigals to return and to honor You. We pray that the joy of the Lord would fill each family. Let the family altar of prayer, worship and reading the Word be reestablished in the families of GateWay. EPHESIANS 6:1-4, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:19-20, 2 CORINTHIANS 13 Lord, we thank you that we are all a part of Your family, whether married, single, widowed or divorced, child or adult and as such You are calling us to continued spiritual growth and maturity. Thank you Lord, that Gateway has provided many avenues of spiritual growth, no matter whether we are old or young in the Lord. Help us to walk into this new year, letting go of the old and entering fully into all You have called us to become, that we would flourish. Lord, strengthen and empower us by Your Spirit to keep our walk alive and vibrant. EPHESIANS 4:12-16, EPHESIANS 4:22-24 Thank you Lord, for your promises of prosperity, that You are able to meet all of our needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. Lord we pray that all families would be able to enter into the fullness of Your provision for all their needs. We look to You to teach us how to prosper, how to manage our finances, and how to give as You have instructed us to. Your Word teaches us to tithe, give to others, to sow into the family s future. Heavenly Father, we ask for new ways to provide for young families, our youth and young adults, and our senior citizens. DAY 3 Wednesday, January 17 Gateway Lord, we pray our vision of Inspiring Transformed Lives would be real and active for every member at GateWay City Church. We welcome You, Holy Spirit, to fill and transform us as we encourage and inspire others to the transformed life of Christ. Bless our Campus Pastors with wisdom and knowledge, and the resources needed to flourish. Lord, we thank you for our strategy of Gather, Grow, and Go. We pray for a spirit of excellence in all we do, and for your blessing and increase, so we would flourish as a people. ROMANS 12:1-2, PSALM 92:12-14, PHILIPPIANS 4:19 We pray for all our Gather events and services. We ask for continued anointing and wisdom, as well as the unity and increase of all who serve to make our Gatherings successful and flourishing. We pray anointing, blessing, increase, and protection for everyone at our GateWay services. We believe for 2018 to be a year of flourishing and favor. We pray blessing on the coordination, cooperation, and caring of the individuals and teams involved. We pray a Gathering anointing for all of GateWay s ministry teams; the Holy Spirit anointing on all preachers, teachers, worship teams, media and communication teams, generational teams, ushers, greeters, altar teams, first responders, intercessors, and all other support teams and members. We pray for increase as You grace us to plant, water, and harvest. We pray anointing, blessing, increase, and protection for everyone at our Grow events and processes. We ask you would bless the heart of discipleship, growing in love, in the life-giving authority, and in the wisdom of your Word. We ask the Spirit-led use of God-given gifts would flow freely and help to bring a great harvest of equipped, transformed souls. Bless all teachers, mentors, guides, small group leaders, small group hosts, small group coaches and all growth teams. Anoint us to do life together in fellowship and in teamwork. Help us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Your Will. We ask for increased effectiveness in all our Go ministries. We pray for opportunities optimized for your redeeming purposes. Help us to have Christ s face, hands, and footprints in the community. Let the Gospel motivate and favor our Go leaders, teams, and all the members of GateWay. We ask for a strong anointing and favor to reach out to others, to express our love to You, to each other, and to them. As Jesus continually forever intercedes, grace us to join Him with our intercession. Cause all our intercession to increase exponentially and honor you. DAY 4 Thursday, January 18 Our generations Heavenly Father we bless You as a Tri-generational God. You are never looking at one generation only, but You have Your eye on all generations, working to accomplish your will in the earth. Thank You that whether we are children, youth, adults or elders, we all fit into your plan and have a part to play in its accomplishment. We ask that all generations at GateWay be blessed physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We ask that each generation would be honored and see themselves as valuable to You and to the complete establishment of Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. NUMBERS 6:22-17 We pray for each generation to honor and respect the generation before them grabbing hold of all they can learn from them and then reaching back to lift up, instruct and mentor those coming behind them. In this way strong ties and relationships will be established between generations. We pray that as young adults enter into ministries, there will be a mix of generations that will result in blessing, instruction, and relationships that enrich individual lives as well as the ministry. Father we repent for any known or unknown attitudes of division, mistrust, or judgment that may have been souring our hearts regarding any other generation. We take authority over and pull down any walls of division, mistrust or judgment that might exist between generations. We welcome the fullness, sweet Presence of the Holy Spirit to establish a wonderful and connecting heart in each of us. We welcome the love of Christ that enables believers to be knit together in ever-present love. COLOSSIANS 2:2 Father we know that You have people of many tribes, nations, languages and ages. You are God who delights in diversity, but purposes for diverse people to work together in unity. So fill Your people with Holy Spirit, that we are able to appreciate differences, but build upon our unity in Christ Jesus. Let us, Your People, extend grace and mercy to those that are different and honor the gifts that You have given to those of different generations. COLOSSIANS 2:2, PSALM 133:1-3 Father You have given us the commission to spread the good news of Jesus Christ no matter what our age. In order to do this, Lord, we must be connected to those outside the four walls of the church. We pray God that You would set our hearts on fire for the lost and be able to reach and connect with the lost that each of us encounters each day. Help us to see that we are the light that needs to shine in the darkness, touching with the love of Jesus those that are hurting, depressed, despairing, or sick. DAY 5 Friday, January 19 Our community Lord, we pray that the members of GateWay City Church would have a heart for their community. Give us eyes to see the needs around us, our neighbors, co-workers, homeless. Enlarge our prayer focus to reach out to touch in prayer those we meet or see daily, praying for our neighborhood, the schools, police, firefighters, teachers and families in need around us. Our prayers can make all the difference in the atmosphere of our neighborhood and community. Enable us Lord t o put feet to our prayers as You would lead us and inspire us. II THESSALONIANS 3:1, COLOSSIANS 4:5-6 Lord Your Word instructs us to arise and shine as lights in a dark place! Thank You that Your power and love will enter into the atmosphere of our cities as we cry out to You in prayer. Father we know that prayer is the first offensive weapon that we can weld without even leaving our house. As we pave the way for the gospel with our prayers, let Your truth be shared in a ways that touches the hearts and effectively changes lives. Lord You love cities and want the atmosphere of our cities to be transformed to reflect the atmosphere of heaven, help us to love our citites with the love of Christ. COLOSSIANS 1:6, ROMANS 5:1-5 Lord we pray that each GateWay campus would see a continual increase in people saved, healed and maturing to fulfill their destiny. We thank you Lord for the tools You have provided for us to accomplish this. We pray that the ministry of Cleansing Stream would continue to see people cleansed and set free, but also trained to continue the ministry. We cry out to You Lord to establish a strong intercessory call on each campus, with prayer groups flourishing, teaching and instruction in prayer growing. Lord we ask that You would bless the ministry of helps on each campus, so that everything that needs to be done is done and no one is burned out or overlooked. ISAIAH 61:1-3, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17, 1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-7 Lord, we pray that each GateWay campus would see that impact of their ministry reach into even the government of their city and county. God raise up those that are called to minister in the political arena, beginning at the city or county level. Heavenly Father help us to understand that there is no division between the secular and sacred spheres, but that You are Lord of all. Give us the wisdom to see where we as Christians are called to minister, which of the seven mountains of culture we are called to occupy: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, family, religion, and education. We desire Lord, to see the Kingdom of God extended into all areas of our community, that the light of Christ would shine through Your people, bringing righteousness, peace and joy. DAY 6 Saturday, January 20 Beyond / Ten Cities vision Father, You have promised to go before and prepare the way for what You want done. We pray that You would truly go before and prepare the way for the planting of our fifth campus in the City of Phoenix. We thank you for the finances that have already been raised to bless and support this church plant. We also thank you for the team You are building to provide the beginning congregation; let them continue to be strong in vision, unity, and enthusiasm. Build within the team good communication, diligent prayer and strong relationships. Don t let them be weary in well doing, as planting a church is never an easy task, but one that takes perseverance as well as foresight. Overshadow and sustain all the plans and preparations for the Phoenix campus. EPHESIANS 3:20, 2 CORINTHIANS 2:15, HEBREWS 10:35, GALATIANS 6:9, ISAIAH 43:18-19 Heavenly Father, we stand before You as a part of GateWay City Church and pray that ministry on each campus will explode with the Presence and power of God! Lord, we can do nothing without You, but we can do all things through You. We ask Your blessing on our Lead Pastors, David & Kathy Cannistraci, and on the Pastors and Elders within each campus; that they would each walk in holiness, righteousness, provision, love and faith in a new level this year. We pray for doors of opportunity, provision and increase to open for each campus. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:8, GENESIS 48:4, JOHN 15:5-17 Lord, we pray that each GateWay campus would move in the Favor of God and would be recognized as a blessing in the community. Let the grace and favor that rests on each campus establish strong local connections in the community. Illumine new ways each campus can be involved in their community to extend the Kingdom of God in a tangible way. EPHESIANS 5:16-17 Lord we ask that the leaders and pastors of each GateWay campus would be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, especially for growth opportunities. Lord, we decree expansion of ministry and of participation by every member on every campus to strengthen the church, to spread the Gospel, and to bless the Beyond Vision; one Church in many locations. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:13, EZEKIEL 12:23B Lord we pray for every family and individual Christian who calls GateWay home to flourish and be amazingly blessed. Bless each one with the awareness of Your abundance, a strong sense of church family, and their importance to you and the Beyond vision, and its place in Your Kingdom. DAY 7 Sunday, January 21 Our nation and world Lord, let the hearts of our entire nation s leaders be turned back to God. We repent of pride. Our nation was founded by those with an understanding of your authority and delegation for godly leadership with a heart to serve on behalf of the people of this nation. Our heart is for our nation to again turn back to You, that godly principles would be valued and upheld. We pray for the integrity and righteousness that is the foundation of the throne of God to also be the foundation of our national government. You are a God of Mercy and a God of Justice; and we ask that again your mercy and justice would be seen and experienced in our land. We thank you Lord for the wisdom You gave the founding fathers in establishing our government as a constitutional republic, and for the three branches of government founded on Isaiah 33:22, For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, and The Lord is our King. We thank You Lord for the great privilege to live in the freedom of this country. Help us to walk in humility towards You and grace toward all people. 1 THESSALONIANS 23-24, ISAIAH 33:22, PSALM 97:2, MATTHEW 5:13-14 Lord, we pray that an atmosphere of respect and honor would be established in our nation. We repent on behalf of our nation that we have not acted kindly as a nation toward each other. Forgive us this sin and grant us grace to honor all people, even when we disagree with them. We pray that civility of speech would rule the airwaves again and that spirit of Leviathan (separation) would be pulled down. Let our speech be seasoned with kindness, honesty, and grace. COLOSSIANS 3:15, ROMANS 12:10, PROVERBS 31:26 Heavenly Father, give to our leaders clear direction to lead this country through the coming years. We pray for decisions that will honor You and bless the people. PROVERBS 3:5-6, I TIMOTHY 2:1-2 We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, because You have commanded us to and have given us promise of blessings when we do. We pray for the protection of Israel as a country. We thank you Lord for the promise of salvation for the Jewish people and the blessing of Israel. PSALM 122:6-9, PSALM 83:1-4, ROMANS 11:26-27 We pray for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to go to the entire world. We pray for GateWay s missionaries and Christ s missionaries everywhere.
