St. Clare Stewardship Ministry Corner The Stewardship Ministry meeting will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the lower rectory. The Prayer Ministry is dedicated to those who request our prayers. To join this ministry or to send a prayer intention, please write in the Book of Intentions near the Baptistry or e-mail mbrockmann@cox.net. The Respect Life Ministry seeks to promote and protect the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. The ministry meets the Third Wednesday of every month at 8:30 AM from April - November in the Parish Center. The next meeting will be August 17, 2016. Rosary is said before the 8 AM Mass on the first Friday of every month, weather permitting. All are welcome. The Hospitality Ministry provides a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for members of the St. Clare community and visitors, as well as new parishioners, to meet and interact with one another in a positive way. This ministry provides opportunities to promote parish fellowship and, when necessary, to assist the Pastor with special events. Meetings take place the first Thursday of every month at 8:30 AM in the Parish Center. All are welcome. The next meeting will be on August 4, 2016. The Helping Hands Ministry reaches out to those who are needy, elderly, sick or in need of bereavement consolation. This ministry meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 4 PM in the Parish Center. Enter through the door in the rear parking area. Please feel free to come to these meetings; new faces are always welcome. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. St. Clare Helping Hands Ministry The Helping Hands Ministry has been preparing and serving a monthly meal to the Westerly WARM Shelter since 2006. If your family or neighbors would like to join together to prepare a monthly meal, the Helping Hands members will happily walk you through the process. This outreach to our neighbors in need is always greatly appreciated. If you are interested in this call to discipleship, please call Mary at 401-348-8091. God bless. St. Clare Prayer Shawl Ministry The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits shawls and lap robes for the parishioners who are ill or homebound. Wedding Anniversary Celebration The Diocese of Providence cordially invites you and your spouse to celebrate your 25th, 40th, 50th or over wedding anniversary. Sunday, September 25, 2016, at 1 PM at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul Providence, Rhode Island This celebration includes Mass, renewal of wedding vows, a personalized certificate, and a reception for you and your guests.
