NAGALAND BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, KOHIMA NOTIFICATION NO. 7/2006 (12) Dated Kohima, the 8 th May 2007. No.NBE-37/EX-HS/2007-08 :: The following rules/instructions pertaining to Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (OC) 2007are hereby published for information of all concerned. Documents which are not legible or do not tally are to be returned to the Board immediately by the centre through a special messenger and not through the candidate or his/her representative for verification and necessary action. Duplicate documents shall not be issued within 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Result Gazette. MARKSHEETS : (a) Centre Superintendents shall collect the marksheets for the candidates of their centre within 10 (ten) days after publication of the result. 1 (b) (c) (d) All categories of candidates are to collect their marksheets from the examination centres ie. the institutions where they appeared the examination). Candidates must produce their original admission cards at the time of collection of marksheets. They must sign in the counter foil of the marksheet. Marksheets shall not be issued to candidates from this Office. Corrections, if any,in the marks/division shall be intimated to the concerned institution/centre through an authorised Board's Official. ISSUE OF ORIGINAL PASS CERTIFICATES : Original pass certificates are being issued to successful candidates along with marksheets. As such, provisional pass certificates need not be issued by the institutions. Further, institutions who admit students should not insist on provisional pass certificates. CORRECTIONS : Applications for correction of clerical mistakes in the marksheet should reach the Board's Office within 90(ninety) days from the date of publication of the result. Such applications should be routed through the concerned institution/centre only. Correction in the admission card shall not be entertained as the stipulated time is over.
2 POST PUBLICATION RESCRUTINY : (a) Rescrutiny of answer-scripts in 2 (two) or less subjects only is permitted. The application should be routed through the centre. (b) Candidates failing in 3 (three) or more subjects are not eligible for rescrutiny. (c) The application and prescribed fee of Rs.100/- per subject for rescrutiny should reach the Office within 15 (fifteen) days after the publication of the result i.e. on or before 23 rd May 2007 along with the original copy of the marksheet and admission card. (d) Rescrutiny results shall be declared within 45 (forty five) days after the declaration of the result. POST PUBLICATION RESULT : (a) Notification shall be sent to all higher secondary schools and colleges registered with the Board. (b) The rescrutiny results are not notified individually. (c) Corrigendum and addendum of this result gazette shall be published along with the rescrutiny results. HSSLC EXAMINATION 2007 (OLD COURSE) : Candidates who failed in the HSSLC Examination 2007 (OC) and desiring to continue their studies shall apply to the Board for permission to join in the class 11 (eleven) new course.
