On one occasion Cain offered God the fruits that the land had given him and Abel gave him fat portions of his livestock. Adam and Eve Characters:Adam, Eve, God, Satan Theme:Would you have disobeyed God? Setting:Earth/The Garden of Eden Moral:To not disobey God God created Adam on the sixth day. God said it wasn t good for man to be alone so he caused Adam to fall asleep and God then, performed the first surgery by cutting Adam open and and forming Eve with his rib. He then placed them in the beautiful garden of Eden and let them have as much food as they wanted and all the animals as well, but he forbidden them from one tree. God told them if they ate from The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they would die. Satan disguised himself and tells Eve she will possess the same knowledge as God if she eats from the forbidden tree. Eve does and takes it to Adam to eat from it too. Adam and Eve knew they did wrong so they tried to hide from God, but couldn t, so God s punishment to them was Adam would produce hard labor and Eve would have pain when giving birth. They continued to live physically, but spiritually with God they died.

David and Goliath In the story of david and goliath, everyone was afraid of goliath. Goliath was an enormous giant. That wanted to kill the people of god. The people of israel were afraid to fight against goliath but young boy david volunteered himself to fight goliath. He didn't convince the king at first to fight against goliath because david was only around 12 years old. David killed goliath by shooting him with a slingshot. With this grand achievement David became king of Israel. http://christianity.about.com/od/biblestorysummaries/p/davidandgoliath.htm

Moses Long ago the Pharaoh of egypt sent his guards to kill the firstborn male of every hebrew home because he saw a problem with the rising population. Moses mom however was able to save him by putting him in a basket and letting him float off in the Nile river. Luckily, the daughter of the Pharaoh found Moses and that cause Moses to be raised into royalty, he was given the title of a prince in egypt.

Moses (continued) On one occasion, Moses saw an egyptian guard beating a slave, angered by this, Moses killed the guard. When the king found out he was furious and he sent the entire Egyptian kingdom to kill the prince, Moses. Moses managed to escape and live at peace for 40 years. After that time, the Lord spoke to Moses and asked him to save his people and guide them to the promised land. Moses did as he was told, he warned the king of the ten plagues that would serve as his punishment. However, the king did not listen and was stubborn; he did nothing to protect his people from the plagues. The plagues included the following: Plague of frogs, lice, flies, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, and darkness) The last plague was the final straw, the angel of death was to visit every home and kill the firstborn child of every unmarked home. The King decided to let all the slaves go after his child took his last breath.

Moses ( part 3) After the king had let all of his slaves go, he changed his mind and followed them. Moses as their leader was still trying to lead them to the promised land, however, they encountered the Red Sea and could not get over it in time to escape the egyptians. God gave Moses the power to split the ocean to let his people go by, so moses did. Once the last of the slaves past the waters of the ocean swallowed the egyptian guards. Abraham did not want to disobey god, so he was going to go through with what god asked him to do. Abraham traveled three days with Isaac and two other servants. once they reached the mountain only Abraham and Isaac went up. Tower of Babel Characters:The people, God Setting:Unknown(Earth) Theme:Are you for God or To Him? Moral:Don t govern to God The people had one language, until this point. They became skilled in construction causing them to believe they could make a tower to reach to Heaven. By building this tower the people wanted to make a name for themselves and also wanted to prevent the city from separation. God came down to see their sity and the tower they were building and saw that, that tower would cause the people to separate from him, God. So God decided to confuse their languages and scatter them all across the world so he could stop their plans.

Jonah and the whale Long ago Jonah was sent by the lord to preach his word in the land of Nineveh. Reluctant to preach in israel s enemy territory, Jonah fled in hopes of escaping his destiny. However, on his voyage away from Nineveh Jonah and the people of ship encountered a powerful storm capable of killing every living soul on that ship. When it was known that Jonah and his disobedience had been the reason of the storm, he was thrown overboard and swallowed by a great big whale. Jonah survived for 3 days and 3 nights, on the last night the whale threw him up and Jonah was given another opportunity to preach the word of God in Nineveh. So Jonah preached and he told the people of Nineveh that if they did not turn their ways around God would destroy the city in 40 days. After the people turned their ways God spared the city, and Jonah was angry for he feared being seen as a false prophet.

Jonah and the Whale ( part 2) Time after the city had been spared, Jonah left and decided he wanted his life taken away from him. INstead, God grew a plant by the side of Jonah to protect him from the sun, but on that same night the plant died and Jonah was sad. Why was Jonah sad about the plant but he did nothing to protect it from dying out. So that was the lord s lesson to Jonah : The men, women, and little children are all precious in the eyes of the lord, even though they know not God.
