Lloyd Keith was born in Milk River Clarendon in Jamaica on November 23nd 1958. Lloyd departed on January 29 th 2014. Lloyd was known as Bigger by his friends and family. He migrated to America (USA) on February 6, 1993, where he joined his wife and children and resided here in New Jersey. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Curdell and George Keith and the fourth child of eight siblings. Lloyd has three brothers and five sisters, today we have in our midst Robin, Marcia and Delrose. Regrettingly the others couldn t be with us. Lloyd and Pauline have been together as a loving couple for 35 years. They have three (3) wonderful children Norma, O Neal and Andrew. Anisha, his only granddaughter, who s asking why grandpa had to go to heaven so soon, and still awaiting grandpa to return home. Lloyd loved his wife and children so much, but he loved the Lord Jesus Christ more and re-committed his life to God. Lloyd was baptized to show his faith in Christ openly in February 1993, and has walked close to God until the Lord called him home January 29. Lloyd was employed at The St Mary s General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey for twenty (20) years. She was also employed at Christian Healthcare Center as a wonderful cook. Lloyd was a man of few words but always made it to the point, these words were always flavored with a smile. As a chef, two (2) months ago Lloyd for Thanksgiving excel in his Exquisite and wonderful dishes on his own birthday during our American Thanksgiving Day. Although he had not been totally well he has never complained. His words; when asked was I m alright, I m am alright man. Lloyd rapid and untimely illness was a surprise to the
families and the medical staff at both hospitals. Yet, through the persistence prayers and thanksgivings on January 29, 2014 he surprised the doctors, because he did not symptoms of any illness. Yet his Master called and he was ready to go. You see my friends this 55 years old young man, had an appointment with His God. He heard the Master s call. Unlike Paul the Apostle he was between two options should I go or should I stay, but, Paul came to a decision it was expedient that he would go. Phil. 1:21 For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But, if I live in the flesh this is the fruit of my labor. Yet; what I shall choose I would not. For I am in the strait, betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ, which is for better. Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Having this confidence, I know that I shall abide continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith. That you re rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again. 1Thess. 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that he sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto to the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Amen! My friends it is well as we await that great getting up morning and we must all plan to be included. Thank you all for continue to lift us up in prayer. Lloyd Keith fought a great fight. He will missed but, never Forgotten!
