*RESPONSE #69 Here I Am, Lord (verse 1 only) by DanielL. Schutte I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin my hand will save. I, who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send? FAITH COMMUNITY NOTES THE NEW HYMNAL IS HERE!!! The new hymnals are in the pews and away we go, singing GLORY TO GOD!!! Under the leadership of Mark Armentrout and Melody Meadows, the music committee has planned all of the music for the month of June from the new hymnal. We will be singing some new songs, some old songs, and some golden oldies that may not have been in our blue hymnal. Please take the month of June to begin to familiarize yourself with GLORY TO GOD, its sections and its songs, both old and new. If you would like to dedicate a hymnal in honor or memory of a loved one, envelopes are available in the White Chapel. Please drop them in the offering plate when finished. We will celebrate our new hymnal on Sunday, July 6th, during our worship service. Help us prepare for the Hymn Sing by taking the new hymnal in hand before and during our worship services and identify hymns you would like to sing on that day. Not all of the suggested hymns will be able to be sung because of time...but we will try! Please list them below, tear off the bottom of this page, and place it in the offering plate. Get ready to sing Glory to God!! 5
