MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS Strong Families, Great Churches In the spiritual world, those who want to live Godly lives are always being persecuted. When the church changes and rises in the spirit world, nations will properly align. If God cannot set the House in order, the power of the gospel cannot change the world. When we lift Jesus up all men will be drawn. The light has to come to us first. If the families are not strong, we won t be able to provide the quota to contribute to the House. Rom 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. We must present our body to Him as a willing sacrifice. It must be a spiritual sacrifice, holy and acceptable. This is the reasonable thing we can do. The way we live should be easy to see and is sensible. The might men of David gave strong support. If we are sinful we cannot provide righteousness. If we are strong and mighty and righteous, we will become a contributing factor. We will not become a liability. Good things will continue to happen. There will be a separation between the righteous and the wicked. God will lead the people and bring about separation. Those who are moving forward will not be hindered by those who are wicked. Time, life, health, relationship, destiny, wealth, domain, etc must be taken back. They do not belong to the devil. Everything of our body surrendered back to God. Practice time. What time we wake up or work or finish work, etc must be taken back. If we do not take back time, we will not take back life. We must take back our health also. Instead of eating rubbish, we must eat good food. We must passionately desire to change. We must be dead to our own life and idea. If self stop ruling God can start reigning in our life. 1 1
There are Christians and there are true Christians. Every true Christians can also come forth false Christians. There are Christians who are only there during celebrations. The chief mountain must be the mountain of God. If this mountain is not high enough, everyone will get killed. We cannot run to our mountain unless we are spiritually strong. We must be anointed, appointed and sent. We must live under one authority and be sent by authority. If we are under authority, we will be able to move in authority. Then God will sent us with an assignment to the world to represent Christ. We cannot take any mountain unless we establish ourselves in this mountain. Meet God first so that we can be prepared for the work ahead. Most of the things in life that we need is found in the pattern that God gives to us. Do not be conformed to this world because if we become this world, we will lose out all the things from the other world. Which world are we living? Are we living in the spirit world? We serve the net and receive counsel from there is to make us conform to the world. If we never learn by the Spirit, we will lose. Instead of doing God s way, they do it the devil s or the people s way. We must not learn the ways of the nations but the ways of God. Isa 2:3 And many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isa 2:4 And He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war. God will help us make right decisions so that we can judge nations; God s nations and nations that are not of Him. We have to learn His ways and walk His path. Can we imagine walking in the path where God walked and talk like Him and see what He can see, hear what He can hear, do what He does, etc? God wants us to become great and our families to become great. If we make a mistake and we pull away and do what is wrong, God has no workforce. The work of God must continue. There is Law of the Spirit of Life that will set us free from sin and death. He 2 2
must lead us there and teach us His ways. There is a way, there is a path, there is a law and there is the word of God. The fearful thing is to make decision that is not Godward but influenced by the enemy. We want God to help us in our career, marriage, destiny, assignment, etc. IF we don t know these things, the devil will sweep us off our feet and offer us things that are not of God. This is the tragedy of good people. Every good door does not mean it is God s door. How do we know what is right and the way to go? God will teach us and we must climb the mountain. Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. How can we prove God s will and are we doing God s will when we do certain actions? Prove means evidence. Some decisions we make in life can destroy our future. Eating a bad food today will only give you diarrhea and will not divert our destiny. When we marry the wrong person, we cannot retract back and remarry the right person. Destiny will be diverted. We are our worst enemy. If we don t make right decisions, our destiny and pathway will change. Sometimes there is a place of no return. 1. The right to make a decision is a freedom we cannot afford to lose. We must always be in the place of making right decisions. If we are free to choose God today, tomorrow and day after, we will always have the freedom to say yes to God. No one should stop us from making right decisions. Even when we are under persecution, we must not lose this right to obey God. Make a God decision. No one has the power to stop us. If God wants us to do, no one must stop us even if we lose our job, friends, loved ones, etc. If we subject ourselves to God and resist the devil, the devil would have to flee. We want to serve God with all our heart, soul and strength. Persecution cannot stop us. Rom 8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36 Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." Rom 8:37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 3 3
If death comes to us we must not deny Christ. Whether we have money or not money, friends or no friends, it makes no difference. It has to be fixed in our heart to continue in God. 2. Great decisions are made today compounding on the leverage we now have because of the right decisions we made in the past. If we make right decisions in the past, we will have great decisions today. If we keep making good decisions and this is our habits, we will become better in making decisions and our decisions will be great. From there we will have great results. If we marry the right woman, we will have a good start. Right decisions will lead us to right decisions. If we are at the wrong road, all decisions we make will be wrong. The only right decision we make on the wrong road is to go back to the right road. Get out of the wrong road. No one can make this decision for us. We have to make that decision ourselves. If we don t make this decision we will never come out. Make good decisions starting today. All the good decisions we make will compound to better things. Start now and make the right choice. Don t change. Put our hands on the plow and don t turn back. Say yes to His will and plans. In the future God will send us good things because we are on the right road. Chances, choices, consequences If we take the wrong opportunity or chances, we will make the wrong choices and we will suffer bad consequences. 3. We are where we are today because of the decisions we made yesterday We are the sum total of the choices that we made in the past. That s why we cannot blame anybody other than ourselves because we have decided to be like this. It is our decision to be in our state now. If we decide right we will have a bountiful harvest. If we decide wrong, we can only continue in our bad pathway. We can choose to have breakfast at home or have breakfast outside. These decisions are made on our own. 4 4
Some decisions are made for our future. When we choose Jesus there is no turning back. There must be no two minds about serving God or serving His people. If we tell a lie, we must speak another lie to hide the lie. 4. We will face and will have to live with the consequences (good or bad) We must have the courage to say what is wrong and say what is right. Joshua had all the assignment and promise but he must have the courage to do what he was commanded. When it comes to truth, make up our mind and follow Jesus. All the relationship we have must allow us to do God s will. If they don t want, we must carry on and move on. When we decide and set things in motion, there will be chain reaction. 5. We must adequate and accurate information before we make a decision. Before we buy a house we must check to see if the house is a Malay Reserved or free hold. If we buy a wrong house, our money will be stuck. When we choose, don t choose benefits but choose what is accurate in decision. Do a business to make profit is a general statement. IF we do a wrong business we will be stuck in the business. Find out more before making any decision. IF we don t have enough information, don t make any decision. 6. We must determine to make all decisions in life according to scripture The scripture has to be the basis of our decision making. When we do things God s way, God will be there. All decisions must be in God s word; what we do, what we say, how we live, where we are going, what we are buying, etc. 7. Every decision we make will affect and influence those who are close to us This is one reason why we need to make right decisions because it will affect the one closest to us. If we choose the wrong way, the ones closest to us will suffer. All those who are close must be part of the decision making process. If we make right decisions, our husband or wife or children will be blessed. We must model extraordinary life. Think twice, pray hard and search the scripture instead of doing what is right before our eyes. 5 5
8. We must not make important decision when we are under pressure. When people put us under pressure and ask us to decide, don t decide and leave it to God. The only think we can decide now is choosing God s will, not by pressure. When God say now, we can act. When men say now, we must respond rightly. Don t do things under pressure. If we are not connected, don t get involved. Our lives belong to Him. If God is not moving in that direction, we cannot cross. IF God is not there, we are on our own. If God is not in the matter, hell will begin. 9. We will have a pay a high price to make right decisions We must team up together to make strong decisions. When God raise a mighty man and we read all their story and how they do great exploits, it is always because of connection with men with destiny. God wants our strength and skill multiply. Help those who have been assigned. It is not use to be great and skillful if we don t lend our strength to help others rise in destiny. Live for the corporate destiny, not just for our own benefits or skill. Destiny is not just about being famous in ourselves. When we become skillful and blessed, the greatest is not personal destiny but corporate destiny. We must think of together and work together. All of us chip in; skills and time so that we can build together. 10. We don t have a problem but only an important decision to make If we make the right decision all problems will be solved. When we make the decision, what has been a problem for so long will come to an end. We must study and analyze the situation we are in. Some decisions exaggerate the problem and make the problem large. Some people underestimate the problem and make is as nothing. Some people procrastinate and never make the decision important. We can change the course by just making a right decision. Ask God what is needed for our children, family, leaders, etc. Ask God what He is saying because the fresh word will help us make right decisions. Live beyond the natural and think into the spiritual. People who do not consult God will not know God s decision. 6 6
