On May 6, a special offering will be lifted for the Building Bridges Capital Campaign for Camp Swatara. The congregation did meet its pledge last year and the Outreach Team thanks everyone for their support and help in meeting this goal. This additional offering will help the Camp meet any extra or unforeseen construction costs that are bound to come up. If you use an offering envelope, just add your Camp offering to your regular contribution on May 6. Please indicate on the outside of the envelope that there is a Camp Swatara offering inside. If you do not use an offering envelope, just place your offering in a plain envelope, earmark the contribution for Camp Swatara and place it in the offering plate next Sunday morning. Today we join Aaron and Erin Wachter as they bring their daughter and themselves for dedication. Evelyn Marie was born on Thursday, January 11. Evie's grandparents are Dave & Sharon Smith and Daniel & Anne Marie Wachter, and her great grandparents are Robert & Betty Smith. May God's blessing be upon this family as we all dedicate ourselves to the nurture of this child. 5th Sunday Intergenerational Sunday School is today! Worship Series in April Imagine the People of God. What does a community look like that is living out its call to be the people of God? In this four week series, beginning the week after Easter, we are asked by our inspirational theme song to Imagine the People of God that care, share, believe, receive, seek, dream and change. Readings from the Epistles, letters to early Christian communities, will help us enter into this conversation that is as old as Christianity itself. The weekly themes are: Imagination, Compassion, Transformation, and Fruition. Let s come together to imagine and create better relationships, better family, better church, better world! (This series has been adapted from Imagine the People of God 2011 Marcia McFee. Used with permission.)
