INSTRUCTIONS MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS ACTIVITY: Poster board with Jesus Top Five for Gimme Five Game Post It Notes Five Bibles or Gospels for Gospel Race Straws, heart candies for each teen Introduction: Split the teens into 2 groups and give them each a picture of the Sacred Heart but cut out the heart or put a big question mark in it. Tell the teens that as they go through this activity, for each point or question they answer correctly, they will get a piece of Christ s heart symbolizing the fact that they are getting to know Jesus. Explanation: This game is about learning about Christ s life, in a Family Feud type game. You will need to get the poster boards ready beforehand that have a category or question and five answers. Cover the answers with big POST IT notes so that the teens cannot see. Once they get one right, you take the post it down. To start, have the teens split into the two groups and you will ask them a question which has five answers. The teens have 2 minutes to answer all five things correctly. They need to line up in behind each other and each one of them takes turns guessing at one of the five things. If the team gets all five right, they get a point (a piece of the heart). If they are missing a few answers, the other team can take a shot atguessing. Then it is the next team s turn.
