The Holy Land Follow me! - Walking with Jesus in the Holy Land A pilgrimage to Israel/Palestine with Jordan option Join The Rev. Shelley Denney and The Rev. David Starr as we lead you on a transformational journey, walking in Jesus footsteps from Nazareth to Jerusalem. Together we will listen for Jesus call, as we experience firsthand the beauty and drama of the Gospel narrative in the context of the birthplace of our Christian faith. Standing where Jesus stood, you will learn the history and significance of each site, interpreted by a Palestinian Christian guide. Every day our journey will be deepened by Bible study, meditation, and worship guided by our leader. Your study and knowledge of the Bible will open in wondrous new ways as we follow Jesus footsteps and listen to his words along the Sea of Galilee, the Mount of Transfiguration, Bethany, and on the streets of Jerusalem. Jesus teaching, conversations, and great works will take on new meaning on the Mount of Olives, the pools of Bethsaida, Bethlehem, and the Via Dolorosa the Way of the Cross. We will renew our baptismal vows at the headwaters of the Jordan River. We will spend time in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead. The unforgettable scenery of this sacred geography will enrich your every future hearing of the Great Story. This is an opportunity to deepen your faith, an experience that will remain with you always. You will be where the events that changed the world forever are perpetually commemorated. We ourselves have experienced this transformational journey, and it is our firm hope that you will join us in following Jesus through the Holy Land.
