REPORT ON OBITUARIES Elder B. F. Jessup was born Nov. 17th, 1827, near Macon, Ga. In 1850 he joed Antioch Baptist church, Twiggs county, Ga., was soon impressed with duty preachg Gospel, he was licensed preach March, 1852. His opportunities previous t time, an educion, had been very unfavorable, nor were y time he received license preach very favorable. But a felt need an educion as a mister Gospel soon broke down barriers, 1853 he entered Cave Sprg where he remaed four years. There he learned never gotten lessons. After spendg one year Cassville he taught two years Washgn Isabella Academies. In Sprg 1862 he came North Carola did valuable Missionary labor eastern part Ste. In 1863 he was commissioned by Elder N. B. Cobb, n General Supertendent Army Colporteur North Carola. In t capacity he labored earnestly, potg sners Lamb God, comtg those bodily distressed hospitals. Bee deh he spoke a friend pleasure it afded him baptize soldiers wers Atlantic, who were exposed such dangers th~ coast. After close war he married Miss L.B. Jessup, a very amiable telligent lady.
