We would like to invite you to the TLUMC Women's Spring Gathering, to be held on Saturday, March 10 at 9:30 am. We will be gathering for a potluck brunch downstairs at TLUMC. Our guest speaker is Cindy Stickel, who is the TriLakes Cares Community nurse. The Women's group has been working with Cindy for a few years now, as her program is partially funded by proceeds from our Cookie Walk. Come and listen as Cindy shares what she is accomplishing with her program. There is a sign up sheet in the Great Room, but we welcome all whether you have signed up or not. Bring a dish to share! Questions? Call Michelle Fariss at 719-661-4694. Prime Timers (55+) Prime Timers St Paddy s Day Potluck and Bunco! Come and enjoy the St Paddy s Day Potluck and Bunco party, Saturday, March 17th, at 12:00 Noon in the double room upstairs -- and prepare to have a silly and fun time. Remember, knowing how to play Bunco isn t a requirement--in fact we re not very good about following the rules anyway. If you will need a ride to this event, just mark that on the sign-up sheet. Please bring a potluck item to share and wear green if you have it. We need 6 to 8 card tables as well, depending on the number of people who sign up. 8 Continued on next page...

Prime Timers Gallery of Living Art Visit Sunday, March 18, Meet at 1:30 in the Soopers Parking Lot The Gallery of Living Art Passion Play is held each year prior to Easter. A unique and powerful presentation of Christ s passion and resurrection as told through 14 staged life-size sacred works of art, music and scripture. A free 90 minute performance is given in the sanctuary of First Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907. There is no reserved seating, so we need to arrive an hour early before the performance at 3:00 PM.Also, because the church is located in a neighborhood setting, parking is at a premium so we need to carpool. This will give even deeper meaning to our Lenten journey. We plan to go out to eat together after the performance. Special Offering (U M C O R) This offering is taken on the fourth Sunday in Lent and provides major support for immediate assistance in the wake of natural and human-caused disasters and helps support ongoing ministries of food, shelter, health and peace. One Great Hour of Sharing giving allows 100 percent of designated gifts to be used for the specified disaster response or other ministry. Questions? Call Beverly Carlson: (719) 481-5702 or email: BaCARLSN@comcast.net 9
