The Knight's Code Men s Conference Saturday, August 25th 9am - 3pm Conway First United Methodist Church What is the Conference? M onthly Mission in Motion July School Supplies: Children in need returning to school from Kindergarten to Grade 12 require new supplies. Needed: Pens, Pencils, Canvas notebooks, Notebook paper, Spiral notebooks (1 & 3 subject), Crayons Highlighters, Colored pencils, Erasers, Blunt nose scissors, Small calculators, Book bags, Pencil bags, Glue, Washable non-toxic markers Community outreach opportunity Do you have a day, two days, or more in a week or through out the month? Mobile Meals of the Grand Strand is a United Way partner and encompasses the Grand Strand area (North, South & Central Myrtle Beach all east of the waterway). They provide meal service to the disabled, elderly, and those confined to their homes. Volunteer opportunities include drivers, packers and runners who deliver the meals to the table within the homes. The meals are packaged in insulated containers to keep warm and they are prepared by Lowe s Food @ 82nd Ave. N. The Unreasonable Jesus September 2018 Thursdays September 6, 13, 20 & 27 at 11am 925 youth center. All are invited! The Unreasonable Jesus: Becoming the Person He Made You to Be, examines what Jesus asks of his disciples during the Sermon on the Mount, emphasizing how challenging yet rewarding the tasks actually are. Please keep us in prayer daily: that we will be the hands and feet of Christ to the families whose homes we will repairing, a light to all those around us, and that we will be safe in our travels and all that we do. We are excited to have the opportunity to be a part of Salkehatchie Summer Service and look forward to sharing our experience with you soon after we come home!
