Position Available at Asbury UMC Asbury United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking a Director for the ACCDC Mission Program (Asbury Christian Child Development Center). Position will supervise staff and run the day-to-day operations of an existing, established, successful, Children s Pre-School. Seeking energetic, motivational Christian who has a love of children and organized supervisory talents. Must be 21 years of age or older. Bachelor s Degree or higher in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field required. Desired to already have (CDA) Child Development Associate child care credential from an approved program (required to hold CDA within first year of employment). Desired experience and successful track record in teaching early childhood programs. Desired managerial/director/assistant director experience in a childcare program. An Old-Fashioned Gospel Hour Book your calendars for August 25th at 6pm! Asbury will host its first Old-Fashioned Gospel Hour in the Wilson Activity Center with a variety of fabulous gospel talent. Featured for the event will be: Todd Mead on the mandolin, Scott Odena on the banjo; Linda Southern at the keyboard; Daniel Robertson on the guitar; a gospel quartet from our own Chancel Choir; and our special guest Mr. Dale Kriner of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mr. Kriner was trained at the New York Institute of Music. He will be playing many wonderful gospel numbers on piano. A homemade ice cream social with all the trimmings and lemonade will be served. A silent auction will also be available. More information about the show, tickets, to come. Proceeds will be for Shared Ministries and Missions Outreach.
