O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.

You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength Silencing your enemies and all who oppose you

When I look at the night sky And see the work of your fingers - the moon and the stars You set them in place -

What are people that you should think about them? Mere mortals that you should care for them?

Yet you made them only a little lower than God And crowned them with glory and honour

You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority

The flocks and the herds and all the wild animals,

The birds in the sky,

the fish in the sea,

and everything that swims the ocean currents.

O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

1. O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds thy hands have made;

I see the stars,

2. When through the woods and forest glades I wander / 5

And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,

When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,

And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:

How Great Thou Art Then sings my soul My Saviour God to thee How great thou art How great thou art Then sings my soul My Saviour God to thee How great thou art How great thou art / 4

3. And when I think that God, his Son not sparing, Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in;

How Great Thou Art That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin: / 7

How Great Thou Art Then sings my soul My Saviour God to thee How great thou art How great thou art Then sings my soul My Saviour God to thee How great thou art How great thou art / 4

And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!

Lord, you spoke the universe into existence. You spun the stars and galaxies in their orbits. What is humanity that you are mindful of us? And yet you call us your children. You Grant us the right to call you our father. We come into your presence with reverence and great joy.

We long for your Kingdom, Father. We are sheep desperately in need of a shepherd. We are lost without you. We pray that your Holy Spirit will continue to move among us and make us your people your body that we might live out your kingdom here and now in this world.

Father, we desire your perfect will in our lives. But we confess that sometimes giving up control even to you is frightening. Where will you send us? What will you bring our way? We don t know. But, we trust you Lord. We have seen that in you we find beauty and glory and hope and peace. And so to your will we say, Yes.

You have made us with physical needs food, shelter, clothes, human companionship. We ask you to provide these things, Father. Teach us to trust you. To not be greedy, piling up more than we need. Rather may we live in appreciation of what you have given today with faith for continued grace tomorrow.

Lord, we tremble as we pray this, because too often we have not forgiven those around us. We say that others are not deserving of forgiveness. But neither are we, yet you forgave us, and you love us. Lord, teach us to see each other through your eyes. Teach us to be receivers and givers of grace.

Father, deliver us from the multitude of temptations around us. Give us the courage to flee to you when the evil one attacks. Fill us with your holiness. Grant us the grace to stand firm in your strength.

(OUT LOUD!!) For ever and ever AMEN!

Message

Ezekiel 37 The Valley of Dry Bones 1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know." 4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.

Ezekiel 37 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' " 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Ezekiel 37 9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet a vast army.
