Every day, Christ meets us all just as we are, extending love to people of every age, race or ethnicity, physical appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental ability, marital or relationship status, economic circumstance, educational achievement, political affiliation, or religious background. Antiphon 5 Yet you have made them little less than divine; with glory and hon- or you crown them. 6 You have made them rule over the works of your hands; you have put all things un- der their feet: 7 all flocks and cattle, even the wild beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the sea. 9 O Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Music during Communion Lamb of God (8:30) Anthem God Bestows on Every Sense Anothy Giamanco God bestows on every sense beauty as hope s evidence: signs of what the earth will be just beyond what we can see. Catch a fleeing glimpse of grace in an unexpected place: just a taste, the smallest crumb of the banquet yet to come. Vibrant pictures in our dreams, brushed with crystal color schemes, vanish from a waking mind, leaving just a trace behind. In a burnt and blackened field broken ground begins to yield tiny, fragile sprouts of green: hints of forests yet unseen. God makes all creation new, turning back what people do, building up what we destroy, singing sorrow into joy. Adam M.L. Tice Hymn No. 466 Hymn No. 656 8 In the Singing Blest Be the Tie That Binds
