Notes for Today s Worship About Worship Leader Analyse Triolo, a native of Greensboro, NC, graduated from UNCG in 2012 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Education. As a lifelong member of Evangelical Luran Church in America she is excited to be continuing her journey towards Ordination at Luran School of Theology at Chicago next year. She has a passion for dance, photography BBC television shows. She wishes to thank Wake Div community for giving her opportunity to dance again for surrounding her with love support over years. Francis of Assisi Worship Liturgies have been adapted from Evangelical Luran Worship, prayer book hymnal for Evangelical Luran Church in America (ELCA). Today's worship service was planned by Analyse Triolo (MDiv 15), Andria Williamson (MDiv 17), Daniel Potter (MDiv 16). Communion Communion will be shd by intinction today. Each station will have gluten-free bread each chalice will hold both wine grape juice. The wine in each chalice is marked with a W is lesser-filled portion of cup, grape juice in each chalice is marked with a J is more-filled portion of cup. All welcome to partake. About Stripping of Altar After Eucharist is celebrated it is customary in ELCA congregations to "strip altar," which symbolizes abonment of Jesus by his disciples stripping of Jesus by soldiers before his crucifixion. It represents humiliation of Jesus consequences of sin as a preparation for celebration of new life.
