So what happened at? The Lantern of Light, Burgess Hill Reflections on January CYPRUS HALL, CYPRUS ROAD, BURGESS HILL, RH15 8DX We saw a very high standard of mediumship at The Lantern with SEE MORE OF FACEBOOK BURGESS HILL SPIRITUAL CENTRE 3 RD ANNE WRIGHT It was lovely to see so many of you visiting the lantern Anne had a wonderful evening, she first spoke of her recent trip, the internet connection wasn t that great, but she saw a comment from an old friend who was visiting Mauritius. Anne messaged and the lady was in the same area as her, when Anne asked about the hotel the lady said where she was and then asked Anne who said her room number they were in the same hotel, whilst waiting for them another couple, whom they didn t know but they were from Lancing where Anne is from, coincident of what. know there is a reason. Lesleigh had a great banter with the audience. Anne had wonderful links proving whom she had with her and then lovely messages from spirit. Anne read a few words afterwards, truly a beautiful evening. Thank you Anne for your work tonight. 10 TH JAN DAYTON Lesleigh as usual being a spirit artist had a good banter with Jan, putting her easel up for her. Garry brought his dog 'Hope' up to the centre. Spirit were very close to Lesleigh as she felt them around her head, so knew that Jan was going to have a wonderful evening. Jan did some beautiful drawings which were accepted and the evidence was amazing. A beautiful evening in the company of spirit. Thank you Jan for your work tonight. 17 TH DAVID WILLIAMS Our dear friend Betty Horne was unable to serve the centre tonight, so Malcolm invited a new person to the centre, who didn t disappoint. He had an amazing link with spirit and was very complementary about the centre. He has a very strong presence about him, all 6ft 8 of him. He made every one laugh who was in the front row by saying that they would get neck ache by the time they went home, as they were looking up at him, He said that he doesn t tell your future, that is not a job of a medium, but had people laughing by saying I could say you are coming into cash, and then you are knocked over by a security van. He had a lovely way of making people feel at ease. One message went to 3 ladies all very pleased with their message. 24 TH MALCOLM PUTLAND Malcolm has been very busy so far this year as Paul Stevens rung in the afternoon to say that he could not get to the centre due to illness. So our lovely Malcolm stepped in. Malcom was on top form, giving someone a parsnip which was accepted. The rest of the messages had a lot of off the wall evidence in them. Malcolm proved who the communicator was, never sit there just wanting one person as it doesn t work like that, you can really block the connection. Great messages Malcolm, thank you for your work tonight. 31 ST MARLENE WOOLGAR It was great having Marlene working at the centre; she has a lovely link with spirit. First Lesleigh lit the candle, it was lit for a lovely medium Sheila Have who has returned to spirit and a ladies sister who also passed the same day, The lady said to Lesleigh I just needed to be here tonight, my true spiritual home. Lesleigh spoke for a time afterwards bringing her comfort We were very thin on the ground, the Medias threat about the weather was a big contributing factor. One lady even emailed to ask if it was on. The weather was fine, cold but nothing else but it was very warming and loving in the centre. Marlene said how much she enjoys working at the centre, always a warm welcome and a great atmosphere. Marlene was taking about how mediums do not have a script to work from And Lesleigh said and no spot light as the light above their heads was out. Marlene shared a story about a man always being hen pecked on the bus But it turned out not to be the case, how quick as humans were quick to judge. Marlene linked with a few in the congregation bringing forward evidence of survival. Marlene was coming out with some off the wall evidence which was being accepted. Malcolm also received a message from our lovely friend Annette, who could not really come to him at BHASVIC Hove as her family are there. A beautiful message and evidence, proving beyond a doubt who Marlene had with her. She spoke of the funeral that Lesleigh had conducted, her illness and her lifestyle. How lucky we are to have Malcolm to stand in at the last minute. 10
There were a few new people in the audience who didn t really know how to work and were giving Malcolm a bit of a hard time. Then the penny dropped, and were really working with Malcolm and accepting all the information, Malcolm was like a dog with a bone, was not giving up. Proving to them, whom he had with him. Malcolm worked a different way after that The weather outside was very windy, the wind chimes were making such a racked felt like the doors were going to blow open Malcolm evidence was amazing, one guy there for the first time received his truth. Malcolm s link was Southampton and plumbing. The guy was in Southampton that day and he is a plumber. Amazing evidence came through after that from his Grandfather. It can stay there. Lit the candle to Andre Eugene who s funeral Lesleigh had conducted that morning and read the words about music on the order of service.. Malcolm was on top form with the messages that he was giving out and the evidence of whom was communicating, even our dear friend Annette came through to her family. One communicator was very colourful with their language; Malcolm had to really say a lot of bleeps. One communicator wanted to give their loved one a clip around the ear. People were very pleased at the end of the evening at the messages that they were given. One ladies communicator made Malcolm return to her it was her first time and he said his communicator was telling him that she was not convinced so convince her he did. Thank God. The warmth and love generated by spirit kept us going. Robin gave the most beautiful service. A true ambassador for spirit. His reading was very thought provoking. But one word in his address was missing, it was love, Robin wanted to add it to the reading. Lesleigh afterwards mentioned about our principle. Love yourself and love others It is so true, Love is all you need, that is why the Beatles wrote about it!! Robin linked with a few in the congregation. A very beautiful, deeply profound, moving morning Thank you so much Robin for your work. Afterwards some of us went for our Sunday lunch, 10 people all sharing food and conversation. Lesleigh afterwards with a lady went onto the Hassocks pet shop. Everything is tried and tested by all Steve s 32 cats that roam freely around the shop. One cat sitting like Bast the Egyptian cat by the till, Lesleigh communicated with it and stroke it, it turned outstretched its paws on Lesleigh chest and placed his head next to Lesleigh s cheek, for about a minute, this was witnessed by the lady, a very moving moment. She has since passed to Spirit, bless her. Lesleigh was given the word abundance to talk about in the address. When Lesleigh went to search the book she was told search on line we will use your fingers. This amazing reading about spiritual abundance was given. 12
The words said by spirit was very powerful resonating with the congregation, a true message for the new year. The message were given in a very uplifting, sensitive way. People were saying how the reading and address was very meaningful. Lesleigh linked with a few in the congregation in her usual uplifting manner making people laugh with the antics of spirit. EAST GRINSTEAD SPIRITUALIST CHURCH, THE OLD COURT HOUSE, EAST COURT, COLLEGE LANE, EAST GRINSTEAD, WEST SUSSEX RH19 3LS DIVINE SERVICE + SPIRIT ART JANUARY 18 TH @ 11.00AM Not many ventured out for the first service of the year. There was no heating in the hall; in fact Malcolm worked with his coat on. But that didn t stop Lesleigh and Malcolm working, bringing forward amazing philosophy from spirit. Lesleigh felt inspired by a guide working through Malcolm to draw them. A powerful energy. After Lesleigh had done a couple of drawings. Lesleigh finished the drawing. Malcolm evidence was spot on. Making people laugh and finding a tear rolling out of their eyes. Lesleigh information was taken and also the drawings. Lesleigh did make comment about how everyone was sitting at the back row, why d people always do that. 13
When the raffle was going to be drawn, the gentleman walked up the stairs and tripped, Malcolm with his sense of humour quickly said, the first prize is a trip, with that everyone, including the gentleman fell about laughing. He was unhurt I have to add. His reading was from a book whose author was known to Robin the president. FEBRUARY HOROSCOPES By Jane Lang There have been turbulent occurrences happening in January so what does the next month herald for us all? February brings us four planets in Pisces and boy can we use them now. Compassionate and holistic energy is available to us now particularly if you are a water sign! The astrological mirror tells us we can bring peace and calmness to otherwise turbulent happenings of course the potential is there but the question is can humans actually do it! The Leo full moon on the 3 rd indicates great potential for exciting paths into the future. We are all still dealings with the Uranus/Pluto Square which means two planets squaring up to each other. Now they don t have to fight if the forces of transformation and revolution are harnessed amazing things can happen if not then the urge for change clashes with the urge for conservatism. The past and the future, the old and the new need to be unified and harmonised otherwise we see open conflict. We all see this on the world stage now and yet it also happens deep within us too.
