The themes are driven by the Christian calendar of events and celebrations. Monday 10 th May Budda Day Learning to Listen: To understand that listening and showing compassion are part of being a good friend. Class Worship: (Learning) What do we know now about being a good friend? Are all the quotes true? (Reflecting) Write short prayers/ phrases of thanks about friendship(responding) Share phrases/ thanks. Add prayers to sacred space. Monday 17 th May Pentecost Pentecost Knowing God s Presence: To understand the significance of Pentecost in the Christian calendar. To begin to explore the concept of the Holy Spirit. Monday 24 th May A celebration of our SBS Christian Values: To recognise our Christian Values in action. Half Term
