On September 14th and 15th, 2018, MCC BC will be hosting its 49th annual Festival for World Relief - a weekend of food, fun and fundraising for MCC's work of responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice in the name of Christ! 2. Clearbrook MB Church has been holding seminars for seniors for the last 5 years. The seminars cater to the concerns of seniors. Two upcoming events: Grief and Loss Seminar: Tues. Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25, Oct 2 Coffee: 9:30am, Seminar: 10:00-11:15am (Free Seminar) at Clearbrook MB Church Older Adults Wellness Festival: Thursday, Oct. 18 Come and go event from 8:30am 3:00pm, at Garden Park Tower This festival will have vendors/displays of interest to seniors. There will be 6 seminar sessions along with a panel discussion. (Free) 3. MCC job position: MCC is looking for the right person to fill the position of Director of Development and Advancement. M2/W2 Association Gala: The Annual M2/W2 Gala Event will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 6pm in the Magnolia Room at Garden Park Towers, 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. We hope to take the opportunity to bring you up-to-date on the journey of M2/W2 Association through our work with inmates one:one, through transitions through the Hidden Treasures Thrift Stores and through the work being done in the community with released inmates through the No One Leaves Alone (NOLA) program. 6.
