9th Gr. Confirmation Covenant Due October 24 Confirmation is the time to examine the Christian faith. At the end of Confirmation classes, our Confirmand s are given the opportunity to confirm or solidify the faith of their parents by professing their personal faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, we promise to do the following things to make this a meaningful and successful year. CONFIRMAND: During this year I, agree that, I will pray for God to make Himself known more fully to me. I will take this experience seriously. I will listen and cooperate in class. I will respect others in class. I will make attendance to Mass and class a priority, knowing that I am only Confirmed once. I acknowledge that the attendance policy: make-up work will be assigned to me if I miss more than 3 classes. Candidate Signature Date PARENTS: During this process I, agree that, I realize the importance of this year and will enable my child to participate as fully as possible. I will pray for my child s Confirmation experience and for the leaders. I will encourage and enable my child to take responsibility for this year. I will an advocate for the Christian life of my family by attending Mass each Sunday. I understand that in order to join the church with the rest of the Confirmation class, my child has an attendance policy of only 3 missed classes until make-up work is expected. Parent Signature Date
