Well, the holidays are over time is marching on! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas a Happy New Year. We were able to spend time with our family (GRAND BABY!!!!) friends. What an enjoyable time of the year! Our Chapter Christmas Party was well attended. I hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the fellowship, of course, FOOD! We exchanged our Secret Santa gifts. Everyone who participated say, Thank you Santa. On behalf of the Marines in Iraq, I would like to thank everyone who donated items to be sent over to Iraq. I sent a total of 10 boxes of donated items to the Marines in Iraq. My son-in-law all of his fellow Marines were so very grateful for all of the food items, toiletries, drink mixes, cigars, etc., that were donated sent to them. I know they saved the last of the items for their New Year s Eve party. This year is going by so quickly! It is hard to believe that there are only three more meetings for my term as Worthy Matron. I have been busy visiting our Sister Chapters in the area. If anyone is interested in traveling with me, give me a call. The meeting dates of our Sister Chapters are listed with the calendar at the back of the newsletter. Come join me the more the merrier! Mark your calendars for our annual lunch/ dinner to be held Wednesday, March 25, at Inlet Affairs.
