Ephesians 6:10 18 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Ready For The War!
Paul has been advising the Christians in the Ephesian church how to relate to one another by having Unity in the Church, Holiness In Life, Putting off the Old Man and Putting on the New Man, Walk as Children of Light and Be Filled with the Spirit. He also talks about Responsibilities In The Home and at Work, Wives: Submit to your Husbands, Husbands Love your wives, Children obey your parents and on the job we should Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are you when people insult you, mistreat you, and tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.
There are two types of people who are not our enemies; the first is other believers.
The other group that is not the enemy is non-believers.
In Luke 10:19 Jesus called Satan Our Enemy and that is echoed by his friend Peter who wrote 1 Peter 5:8 Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.
Two things we need to know 1) the Devil is real 2) I ve read the back of the book and we win.
The Armor
John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, its people would love you. But you don t belong to the world. I have chosen you to leave the world behind, and that is why its people hate you. If you don t think he meant it, listen to what he said in his prayer just before he was arrested John 17:14 I have told them your message. But the people of this world hate them, because they don t belong to this world, just as I don t. and again in John 17:16 They don t belong to this world, and neither do I.
Ephesians 6:18 Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God s people.
