Page 2 From the Pastor Change: to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone I know many times in my life I have asked the question, Why can t we just leave it alone? This is always in a time I perceived what was around me as good enough. I praise the Lord that our God never considers us as just good enough. He is constantly allowing us to walk through trials and victories as a kind of refiner s fire. He helps us to realize the impurities that are in our lives and gives us the opportunities to rid ourselves of what distracts us from being more Christ-like. Changes could simply be seen as challenges to our current norms as new and better norms are on the horizon. This Sunday, we will look at a few things that will never change. While our lives are moving at such a fast pace and new tests seem to be around every corner, it is good to know what we can count on as a constant in our lives. One man was out at sea in a small boat. He was feeling ill due to the waves and wind. When he saw a deep water oil derrick in the distance, he begged to go hold on to it. His desire was to cling to something steady and still in the midst of his chaos. We, too, need to know what we can count on in the middle of our busy and ever changing lives. Prayer, Devotional, Coffee, Snacks & Fellowship One night study on November 14 th at 6PM RSVP the office 653-3361 It was great to welcome Jessica Falk to our church family. I hope you enjoy getting to know her better. See you Sunday! In Christ, Bro. Tommy Jessica Falk 161 Nuchols St. Unit 6009 (08)
