It also incorporated an extensive annotated bibliography and an oral defense before a panel of university faculty. Philosophy Junior Seminar/Thesis: St. Augustine s Understanding of God. The class focused exclusively on St. Augustine s thought and works. It incorporated several oral presentations and culminated in the Junior Thesis. Philosophy Senior Thesis: Freedom and Truth in the Human Conscience: Pope John Paul II and The Acting Person. This thesis project included a 35 page research philosophy paper with a public oral presentation and defense.
