THE SOLID ROCK P/W My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace. In ev'ry high and stormy gale my anchor holds within the veil. His oath, His covenant, His blood support me in the whelming flood. When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay. When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found Dressed in His righteousness alone; faultless to stand before the throne. THIS IS OUR GOD God, our Father, full of power; Maker of the heavens, Maker of the world, Forming all things, seen and unseen; Truly the Almighty beyond all measured worth-- Holy is His Name. We believe the Lord our God is One: Father, Spirit, Son; This is our God! We believe forever He will reign; Let the church proclaim: This is our God! Our Lord Jesus sent to save us, born unto a virgin, lived a perfect life; Greatly suffered, dying for us; From the grave He s risen, seated now on high-- Holy is His Name. We believe the Lord our God is One: Father, Spirit, Son; This is our God! We believe forever He will reign; Let the church proclaim: This is our God! (Bridge) Jesus will come back again, Amen, to judge the living and the dead, Amen; Usher in the age to come; let everyone sing Amen. Spirit, holy One in glory, speaking through the prophets, empowering the Church; Life is given by and through Him; With the Son and Father, worshiped and adored-- Holy is His name. We believe the Lord our God is One: Father, Spirit, Son; This is our God! We believe forever He will reign; Let the church proclaim: This is our God!
MY HEART IS FILLED WITH THANKFULNESS My heart is filled with thankfulness to Him who bore my pain, Who plumbed the depths of my disgrace and gave me life again; Who crushed my curse of sinfulness and clothed me in His light, And wrote His law of righteousness with pow'r upon my heart. My heart is filled with thankfulness to Him who walks beside, Who floods my weaknesses and strengths and causes fear to fly; Whose every promise is enough for every step I take, Sustaining me with arms of love, and crowning me with grace. My heart is filled with thankfulness to Him who reigns above, Whose wisdom is my perfect peace, Whose every thought is love; For every day I have on earth is given by the King; So I will give my life my all to love and follow Him. For every day I have on earth is given by the King; So I will give my life my all to love and follow Him. SEE THE MAN OF SORROWS NOW Once You were humbled, heavy thorns upon Your brow. Once You were broken till Your love came raining down. Despised and rejected by the ones You came to save, You cried, It is finished!" and the darkness had its day. But oh, what a morning when the stone was rolled away. And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the man of sorrows now. I will not fear now what Your grace has overcome. I will not tremble through a fight You ve already won. I ll lay down my burdens, and I ll lift my hands in praise. I will look to You, Jesus, Name above all other names! And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the man of sorrows now. It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the man of sorrows now. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the man of sorrows now. See the man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now!
He Never Failed Me Yet I will sing of God s mercy. Every day, every hour, He gives me pow r. I will sing and give thanks to Him for all the dangers, toils, and snares that He has brought me out. He is my God and I ll serve Him, no matter what the test. Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. He never failed me yet! I will sing of God s mercy. Every day, every hour, He gives me pow r. I will sing and give thanks to Him for all the dangers, toils, and snares that He has brought me out. He is my God and I ll serve Him, no matter what the test. Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. He never failed me yet! Didn t my God deliver Moses from King Pharaoh? And didn t He cool the fiery furnace for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? When I think of what my God can do, He delivered Daniel! I know He ll deliver you! Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. He never failed me yet! He never failed me! He never failed me yet! Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. Trust and never doubt. Jesus will surely bring you out. He never failed me yet! BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD ABOVE Before the throne of God above I have a strong, a perfect plea, A great High Priest whose name is Love, whoever lives and pleads for me. My name is graven on His hands, my name is written on His heart, I know that while in heav n He stands no tongue can bid me thence depart, No tongue can bid me thence depart. When Satan tempts me to despair, and tells me of the guilt within, Upward I look and see Him there who made an end to all my sin. Because the sinless Savior died, my sinful soul is counted free, For God, the Just is satisfied, to look on Him and pardon me, To look on Him and pardon me. Behold Him there! The risen Lamb, my perfect, spotless Righteousness, The great unchangeable I AM, the King of glory and of grace! One with Himself I cannot die, my soul is purchased with His blood, My life is hid with Christ on high, with Christ my Savior and my God, With Christ my Savior and my God. One with Himself I cannot die, my soul is purchased with His blood, My life is hid with Christ on high, with Christ my Savior and my God, With Christ my Savior and my God.
HERE IS LOVE Here is love, vast as the ocean, lovingkindness as the flood; When the Prince of Life, our Ransom, shed for us His precious blood. Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He can never be forgotten throughout heav n s eternal days. On the mount of crucifixion, fountains opened deep and wide; Through the floodgates of God s mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide. Grace and love, like mighty rivers, poured incessant from above; Heaven s peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love. Let me, all Your love accepting, love You, ever all my days. Let me seek Your kingdom only, and my life be to Your praise. You alone shall be my glory; nothing in the world I see. You have cleansed and sanctified me, You Yourself have set me free. In Your truth You still direct me by Your Spirit through Your Word; And Your grace my need is meeting, as I trust in You, my Lord. Of Your fullness You are pouring Your great love and pow r on me; Without measure, full and boundless, drawing out my heart to Thee. OH THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free; Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me. Underneath me, all around me is the current of Your love; Leading onward, leading homeward to Your glorious rest above. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus; spread His praise from shore to shore, How He came to pay our ransom through the saving cross He bore, How He watches o er His loved ones, those He died to make His own, How for them He s interceding, pleading now before the throne. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, far surpassing all the rest; It s an ocean full of blessing in the midst of every test. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, mighty Savior, precious Friend; You will bring us home to glory where Your love will never end. BEHOLD OUR GOD Behold our God seated on His throne; come let us adore Him. Behold our King nothing can compare; come let us adore Him!
