SEBASTIAN CHURCH PAGE 4 BELLE VERNON, PENNSYLVANIA New Student Registration for Religious Education Classes for the 2018-2019 School Year Parents, If your child is entering kindergarten, the first grade, or has not attended Religious Ed classes as yet and is not attending a Catholic School, please call the Faith Formation Office (724-929-9300) so that we may enter his/her name to the class roster. Attending Religious Education classes is necessary for public school students in order for them to understand and receive their sacraments. Volunteers Needed for Faith Formation Our faith formation program is in need of volunteers! Volunteers are needed as catechists (3rd & 5th grades), substitute teachers, aides, and hall monitors. Feast of the Assumption at Bishop Connare Center August 15 Bishop Malesic will lead a celebration of the feast of the Assumption August 15 at the Bishop Connare Center. The bishop will celebrate Mass at 7:00 pm in the St. Joseph Chapel then lead a candlelight procession. That will be followed by recitation of the rosary led by different groups from the diocese. Culture Project International Our parishioner, Johni Beeler, will be speaking before Mass this weekend. She is entering her second year of missionary work for this group which is dedicated to proclaiming the dignity of the human person and the richness of living sexual integrity, inviting our culture to become fully alive!
