The implementation will occur as Priests relocate. The second part of the 2/21 session was on the impl of Synod ideas. Land has been donated from in the West Bend area. Application process to find a family, has started. Tentative date for fund raiser is Sat, Sept 12 (proposed). The plan would be to gather in a place other than either parish campus. Several parishioners have been identified to lead / coordinate this event. Update on hiring process for new shared pastoral care position and Terri s replacement The process of reviewing resumes has begun. 3 candidates have expressed interest so far. All are local, but will probably expand our reach. Terri S. is part of the process to insure that all aspects of the role and all ministries are accommodated. Holy Week is chosen as a stretch goal for candidate consideration. Holy Week Holy Thursday Both Parishes will participate in the feet washing event. Jill will be looking for volunteers to have their feet washed at SFC. Fr Enrique explained the process at IC, where he will wash the feet of 11 Parishioners plus Fr Nathan. available for people to view on the parish website. There will be a link. There will also be a few copies in the office for those parishioners that do not have computers. Concentrating on Liturgy Part B of the survey here are 6 points helpful for the future. 1. New hymnal within a couple of years. There will be a group to review the different options available. 2. Psalms: need to educate people how the psalms are tied to liturgical text. 3. Work more of upbeat and familiar songs that people will be comfortable with and will encourage them to participate. 4. Try to add another Mass setting this summer 5. Cantors: new ways to recruit; possibly have someone other than Jill-Marie to work with them. Add a different perspective. Some cantors are weak. 6. Continue ongoing education of why certain music is used. The rules behind the music. Dressing for Mass: encourage proper attire Keeping verbal announcements. They are a preferred communication. Adult education topics: people are open to more of them. New members and discernment update / next steps < Announcement will be in the bulletin and on the screens at Mass.
