Youth From Our Parish In Need Of Sacraments: At Corpus Christ, since we do not have scheduled religious education classes, the process of having a child receive the sacrament of First Communion and Confirmation is conducted individually or in small groups between Fr. Jeremy and the parents. Please contact Fr. Jeremy if you have a child who is in need of these sacraments. Electronic Funds Transfer: Are you interested in having your offertory donation to Corpus Christi University Parish deducted from either your checking or savings account? This deduction would be on a regular basis, once a month, to take the place of your weekly donation at Mass. If you are interested, there are forms in the Gathering Space, or in the parish office. Please contact the parish office at 419-531-4992 with any questions. CCUP Paypal Account: If you would like to make a payment or contribution simply go online to our web page www.ccup.org and click on Electronic Payments. Scroll down to the item that pertains to your payment and fill in the amount you wish to pay. Then proceed as instructed. The categories are Donations, Lectures, Retreats, and Habitat for Humanity Spring Break Trip, Event tickets. This process is secured by Paypal. We want to not only be a resource for spiritual growth, worship and reflection, but also a place where you'll gather and meet great friends, have great times and gather great memories that will last a lifetime. Our two student organizations - CSA (on Main Campus) and Newman Club (at the Health Science Campus) have many resources to support student life at the University of Toledo.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE PROGRAM: The Christian Service Program offers opportunities for students and permanent community members to engage in the social mission of the Church locally, nationally, and internationally. If you are interested in serving those less fortunate and promoting social justice through service, or would like to sponsor a mission trip, please look at the great things going on with CSP at ccup.org or contact the program director, Kimberly Kunkle (kkunkle@ccup.org). James Bacik entitled: The Past as Prologue to the Future October 9-13th - Hosting an art exhibit entitled Pray to Love, featuring the Visitation Sisters. There is a fundraising event for the Sisters the evening of October 8th. The cost to attend the fundraiser is $20. Friday, October 19th - Concert by Christian Cosas, Luke Rosen, and Tony Ward. Thursday, October 25th - Toledo Symphony The most iconic film composer of all time John Williams defines the sound of the cinematic blockbuster. Hear the TSO perform John Williams greatest hits under the baton of their new Music Director Alain Trudel. Last week, we sent out an email to the parishioners with a link to the letter from Bishop Thomas regarding the clerical sex abuse scandals. If you would like a hard copy of this letter, there are some available on the table in the Gathering Space. Soon, we will have 24/7 access to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel for those who want to spend time with Our Lord. More details to come in the weeks ahead...

Catholic Student Association Event Calendar Feel At home The Catholic presence at the University of Toledo University of Toledo UNDERGRADUATE Catholic Student Association (CSA) and GRADUATE STUDENT Newman Club: Did you know that if you are a Catholic at the University of Toledo, you are automatically a member of CSA or the Newman Club? The Catholic Student Association is one of the largest co-ed organizations on the University of Toledo s campus. Associated with Corpus Christi University Parish, it serves as the Catholic student organization on campus, fostering spiritual, social and academic growth. Check online or the weekly bulletin for updates, contact information and pictures. Christian Leadership Program (CLP) Scholarship Incoming Catholic freshmen to the University of Toledo are invited to apply for Christian Leadership Program (CLP) Scholarships offered by Corpus Christi University Parish. Scholarship recipients receive $5,000 in financial aid, as well as opportunities for leadership training and spiritual formation. Applications are available online at www.ccup.org/clp. Welcome Weeks 2018 September 1 st Paint up with CSA 5:00PM @ CCUP The first game of the Rockets 1 st home football game! We will be painting up for the football game. Come to CCUP at 5:00PM to Paint Up! We will be heading over and sitting together for the game at 6:30PM. 5 th Game Night 8:30PM @ CCUP We will be hosting a game night in the CCUP Newman Rooms. Games might include Euchre, Avalon, Monopoly, Spikeball, etc. Snacks and drinks will be provided. 8 th Freshman Retreat 10:00AM -4:00PM@ CCUP Start off your first year by joining the Catholic Student Association and touring the city of Toledo. The annual freshman retreat is taking place from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. Please meet at CCUP in the Newman Rooms with food and drinks provided throughout the day. You will be able to tour the best of what Toledo has to offer and can meet other UT freshman as well as CSA upperclassmen. We have our first General Meeting of the year on September 11 th. We will introduce committee and board members for the upcoming year, announce upcoming events, and start our Homecoming preparation. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and it is a great way to be involved by getting more information. 13 th Pizza for the Poor 7:30PM @ CCUP The first Pizza for the Poor of the year! We will be making 60 pizzas and donating them to a local food shelter. Please meet in the Newman Rooms at 7:30pm to help us make them. 14 th - David Haas Concert- 7:00PM @ CCUP David Haas is coming to CCUP! He is World Renowned liturgical composer, who is responsible for some of the most popular church songs heard at masses around the country.
