NorthernLights Report from the R family WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 03/19/2017 Since our move from Ethiopia in 2015, we have transitioned to the Middle East. We spent several months in intensive language study while the children attended a local private school. We took several trips to the Southern part of our country, and pursued several EV strategies in the city. We were able to spend a little over three weeks in Greece working with refugees from all over the Middle East. In July, our family traveled to Berlin to help with vision casting strategies with partnering organizations. It has been very exciting to hear about the fruit of that work and see how God is working in many places across Europe & the Middle East. Following our summer travels we came back to our country for more language study. In January we had a new family join our team. Dr. Sara, from Mexico, who worked with us in Ethiopia, has also joined our team for full-time service. In February, we hosted a team from Houston that helped run medical days and youth programs in three different villages. The Gospel was shared each day and we prayed with many of our patients. We also have a list of 40 in-home follow-up visits that will keep us busy in the coming weeks. Again, we are excited about what is happening, the growing team and the opportunities to share and implement a strategy that will get us to a church planting movement. We are still working on a solid entry strategy into another Middle Eastern country, so please be in prayer with us as we seek to gain access and make at least four trips in this year. We are now rolling full-steam in our country, and have the need and capacity to strategically utilize teams from the States. If you are interested in coming, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We d love to pray for you! Update our online prayer chain by going to easthaven.org. Click resources, then prayer. Click on share your prayer request and fill out the form.
