CHILDREN S WORKSHOP The Children's Workshop Team would also like to announce: Quran Memorization Challenge. Our theme this year is to prepare for Imam Mahdi and there's no better way to do that than through the Quran. Since there is no school and the children will have some free time, we are putting them to a challenge! Children ages 4-10 are asked to memorize as many of the last 14 Suwer of the Quran. They will be tested during the last few days of the Muharram Workshop. To make it personal, each child is asked to memorize the number of Surahs that corresponds to their age. For example, a 5 year old should memorize 5 Surahs. The more the child knows the better it will count as bonus points! If you have any questions please speak to us on the first day of workshop. PLEASE NOTE: All programs are subject to change. Please refer to the weekly newsletter or website for updated program. Submit any requests for recitation of Marsiya, Nauha, Matam, Ziyarat and holding of the Laash to its respective coordinator. Please donate generously. We urge each family member to donate at least $100 per family. sponsorship will be for designated days only unless all designated days are filled. Please observe Hijab. Any private program with visiting gents speaker must be arranged with the Secretary and with visiting ladies speaker with Director of Ladies only. Please cooperate with and comply with the requests of the coordinators, serving volunteers and especially parking volunteers Please encourage your children to stay inside the main halls instead of running around the screened area.
