LATE NIGHT THEMES Thursday Night: Luau Night at the Pool o Let s get tropical! o Ex: Lei s, Hawaiian shirts, etc. Friday Night: Decade Night o Pick a decade and get creative! o Ex: Poodle skirts, afro wigs, go-go boots, tie dye or leather jackets! Anything from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, etc. Saturday Night: Merica o Bring your most patriotic apparel! o Ex: American flags, Uncle Sam hats, anything red, white, and blue, etc. Sunday Night: GLOW o Bring bright + neon apparel! o Ex: neon/bright colored clothing, glow-in-the-dark items, glow sticks, etc. Please encourage your students to dress up. At the end of each Late Night we will award a prize to the person with the best costume of the evening! Students do not need to go out and spend money on these things; just find things around the house to wear, borrow from friends, or make it up! If they want to buy anything: Party City, Hobby Lobby, or any local thrift stores are good options. Homemade costumes and props are the best!
CAMP RULES 1. No guys in girls rooms, and no girls in guys rooms. NO EXCEPTIONS! 2. No one can leave their cabin before 7:30 am, and you must be in YOUR cabin by Lights Out. 3. Attendance at all scheduled events is mandatory, but participation in recreation is optional. 4. Be respectful of all camp property. Students will be responsible for any damages incurred while at camp. 5. Be respectful of all leaders AND STUDENTS at camp and obey all camp staff and adult leaders. 6. Stay hydrated. 7. No bullying. PRAYER POINTS GROUP Pray that we will have unity within our entire group while at camp Pray that the Lord will have absolute freedom to reveal Himself to the students as well as the adult leaders Pray for our camp speaker, Pastor Jeff Meyers, that he will have boldness and clarity in teaching the Word of God Pray for our worship leaders, Bobby Smith and John McCullough, as they lead us in praise and worship of the Lord Pray for safety as we travel to and from camp & while we are there Pray for our adult leaders as they minister to the students throughout the week of camp SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR STUDENT Pray that God will speak to your student and teach them all that He has prepared for them this week of camp Pray that the Lord will lead your student to conviction of the sin in his or her life and to repentance Pray that your student will remain safe during all of the activities while at camp Pray that your student will develop Godly relationships and deepen existing friendships Pray that your student will maintain a gracious and flexible attitude during the week WORSHIP SERVICES: We will be live streaming all of our worship services. Please join with us to worship and also be praying for each of our students & adults during worship. PACKING LIST WHAT TO BRING One Suitcase Pillow, blanket, sleeping bag or twin sized sheets (bed linens NOT provided) 2 towels + 1 wash cloth (1 towel for swimming activities, 1 for showering) Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc) A Bible and pen for Bible Study and Worship Clothes for outdoor recreation (paintball & other outdoor games) Tennis Shoes (required for paintball, & you ll be walking a lot) Casual/Modest clothes for worship (khaki shorts, mesh shorts, tshirts, etc) Water shoes for rafting (strapped/velcro shoes, i.e. Tevas, Chaco s) NO flip flops Modest, one-piece swimsuit (girls you may wear a one piece or a tankini if the material from each piece touches the other, or wear a dark t-shirt over your bathing suit) Modest comfortable clothes for sleeping Sunscreen Insect repellent Sunglasses Water bottle, Nalgene, Camelbak, etc. (make sure your name is on it) Money for snack bar (change or $1 s) Flashlight Personal Snacks (if desired) Personal float for the wave pool (optional) Plastic bag for wet & dirty clothes 2 bottles of foam (not gel) shaving cream (we will collect these Thursday morning, do not pack in suitcase) Clothes / Props for theme nights (see attached sheet) WHAT NOT TO BRING Illegal substances (tobacco, alcohol, drugs, etc) Excess cash Anything prank materials - (water balloons, fireworks, silly string, etc.) Weapons of any kind Electronics (radio, DVD player, portable game system, etc) Bikinis or Speedos Spaghetti strap tops or small tank tops Short shorts (or shorts with words written on the back)
