My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His Holy Name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:21 WELCOME: A sincere and warm welcome we extend to all who worship with us today. May our worship truly teach us all how to serve our God and King better. May you truly know what it is to be a son or a daughter of the Living God whom we worship through the merit of Jesus our Lord. Please join us after the service for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Children aged 3-5 meet your teachers in the foyer during the offering this morning for Children s Church. ABOUT OUR MESSAGES This morning, we welcome Rev. Jason Wiersma of Living Stone Prison Church (in the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield) to our pulpit. He ll be bringing God s Word from Ephesians 4:7. His sermon will be on Grace like Grease? Why do some people struggle to follow Jesus and others seem to thrive? Are the strugglers just fakers? What does God s Word say about such things? Pastor Drew is preaching this morning in Madison, SD for a seminary colleague. In evening worship, we will be celebrating communion, and so our message will again focus on Life Together, looking at the one another commands of the New Testament. Trying to carry something that s far too heavy usually leads to disaster, but you do it when you either think you re stronger than you are or the object is lighter than it is. Galatians 6:1-10 wants us to keep from doing this with the weight of the Christian life, and so we should Bear One Another s Burdens. Next Sunday Evening: As part of his summer apprenticeship at our church, Chase Pheifer will be bringing a message from God s Word.

PRAYERS AND PRAISES Our family would like to thank the congregation for all your prayer support and expressions of sympathy with the loss of Alfred Van Zee and also the loss of Mackenzie Haack. Your acts of kindness are greatly appreciated. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1. The Van Zee Family, Alice Van Zee and Larry & Jan Hansum Thank you to all the prayer partners and those who supplied snacks for the leaders! Jeanette Pheifer Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who helped in anyway with feeding the SERVEants. Whether you donated food or time or work or all of them, we appreciate you! The numbers were not as great as before but the appetites were. We appreciate all you did to make the week run smoothly! Yvonne and Harriett Please keep in your prayers Virginia and Lloyd Kuipers as Virginia s brother, Leslie Shelbourn, was laid to rest this weekend in Clinton, Wisconsin (he had died on May 27 in Texas). We offer our Christian sympathy to Virginia and pray for God s grace even amidst loss. OUR ANNOUNCEMENTS As part of his summer apprenticeship, Chase Pheifer will be doing a class going through Titus. It will be an Adult Sunday School. There will be three classes on each chapter of Titus. The classes will be on July 22nd and August 5th & 12th, all starting at 11:45 AM. Any adult in church is invited, and you do not need to be at each class. No preparation is needed-just bring your Bible!

From the Council: At their most recent meeting, council voted to allow for the resignation of Michael Van Driesen from our church membership. Michael has moved to Sioux Falls and is committed to worship at a Christian church outside our official fellowship. Be praying for Michael s continued growth in the grace and knowledge of Christ, giving thanks for his new church family! Shoebox Ministry: If you d still like to give a monetary donation, please do. This money will go towards freight and bulk. Advance Scrip notice: The next DCS scrip order will be due on July 17. Order blanks may be found on the west side of the mailboxes. Next order date will be on August 21; please plan accordingly. AREA ANNOUNCEMENTS The next Faith Fellowship is July 13-15. We will be looking to focus on Philip's actions in Act's 8:26-40.
