My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His Holy Name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:21 WELCOME: A sincere and warm welcome we extend to all who worship with us today. May our worship truly teach us all how to serve our God and King better. May you truly know what it is to be a son or a daughter of the Living God whom we worship through the merit of Jesus our Lord. Please join us after the service for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Children aged 3-5 meet your teachers in the foyer during the offering this morning for Children s Church. ABOUT OUR MESSAGES This morning, we welcome Rev. Jason Wiersma of Living Stone Prison Church (in the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield) to our pulpit. He ll be bringing God s Word from Ephesians 4:7. His sermon will be on Grace like Grease? Why do some people struggle to follow Jesus and others seem to thrive? Are the strugglers just fakers? What does God s Word say about such things? Pastor Drew is preaching this morning in Madison, SD for a seminary colleague. In evening worship, we will be celebrating communion, and so our message will again focus on Life Together, looking at the one another commands of the New Testament. Trying to carry something that s far too heavy usually leads to disaster, but you do it when you either think you re stronger than you are or the object is lighter than it is. Galatians 6:1-10 wants us to keep from doing this with the weight of the Christian life, and so we should Bear One Another s Burdens. Next Sunday Evening: As part of his summer apprenticeship at our church, Chase Pheifer will be bringing a message from God s Word.
